General Guidelines HTTPS Protocol If the page runs under HTTPS, the campaign must use the same protocol for all their tags and/or assets. Submission Lead-Time Minimum 3 business days before campaign start

5 Content No alcohol, tobacco, gambling or fake functionality. Functionality Where applicable, the "ON/OFF", "STOP/PLAY", and "CLOSE" button must be prominent and obvious. Where applicable, the method of expansion and un-expansion must be the same. (i.e., click-to-initiate and click-to-close OR roll over-toinitiate and roll off-to-close). Look & Feel Advertisements cannot Mimic any site experience, pages, designs, graphics, or logos. Mislead the user. For example, they may not mimic or resemble Windows/Mac/Unix dialogue boxes, error messages, or the like. Advertisements must Have a distinct border or highly contrasting background to clearly identify where ad ends, and the page begin. Have branding. Close button A mandatory "CLOSE X" button(s) must be prominent and obvious in the top right corner for Sidekick, Pushdown and Expandable banner ads initiated by a user's click. Close button font size must be 11 pixels, bold text, and 4 pixels padding around the text.

6 Animation/Looping Guidelines for all media types There is no loop maximum, but total animation time for all loops combined cannot exceed: 15 seconds. Also, ads may not employ persistent rapid/strobing animation of any graphic, copy, or background element(s). Audio and Video Where applicable, no host-initiated audio is permitted. Audio must be user-initiated by clicking within the banner and contain clearly visible "mute" and "stop" functionality. Video can be host-or-user initiated. Any exceptions need prior approval. In-Banner Streaming Video Up to 15 seconds on all pages. Video must contain clearly visible "mute" and "stop/play" functionality. Backup Ads Every ad must include a backup JPG, GIF or PNG version. Roadblock Requires prior approval by Ad Operations. No more than one day every two weeks.
