A total system is offered... providing design flexibility for both the PC Memory Card and Host Platform Device markets. ELCO invites designers to contact the factory for additional designs beyond those shown in this condensed catalog. A wide variety of options can be suggested for customer specific requirements, whatever the device. 3

4 Features & Benefits 68 Position Receptacle Insulators: Keyed Insulator Option provides flexible packaging alternatives. High Temperature Materials meet solder reflow requirements. Cover Retention Feature provides mechanical attachment of cover to connector. Contact Design: Versatile PC Surface Mount Tail Configurations are available in Straddle Mount, Single Sided Single Row, and Single Sided Double Row. (Contact the factory for offset variations.) Dual Contact Beams are reliable up to 50,000 mating cycles. Paladium Nickel Plating provides maximum contact wear. Card Kits: Type II Interchangable I/O Interface permits application flexibility. Connectors Snap Into Frame for vertical robotic assembly capability and 360 support. Type II Wrap Around Ground Tabs provide ground and ESD protection. Type II Mechanical Latches provide secure attachment.
