2 Overview With new Master/Client function, the customer can configure one device as Master terminal, and then other devices as Client terminals. After Client terminals were registered with the Master terminal ready, the Master-Client devices will auto-sync. data including Users FP data, Event Logs data etc. to each other. See the below system diagram. Note: The client will need to do the Firmware upgrade to 1504 version or above version to make the device support the new Master/Client function. 5 Quick steps to enable Master / Client setup: 1.Login to the master device s [Master/Client Setup] page to enable it as [Master] mode,click [Submit] to make it affect. 2.Login to the other client device s [Master/Client Setup] page to enable it as [Client] mode, and also enter the [Master IP] address to click [Submit] to make it affect. After that, the client device will upload and download the data from the Master device, and then rebooted. 3.After rebooted, the client device will show [Registered] under [Master Status] which means that you are good to go. The client need to choose to [Standalone] mode to run the device under (Master/Client setup) mode. 2. One Master device can support up to 10 Client devices to register with it.
