Browsing LAN Video and Device Parameter and Web Settings 1.1.Browsing under LAN Mode Choose the LAN mode to login after opening Ansee CMS client software ( It requires no account or password, Like figure 1). Figure 1 2.Checking Parameter Settings of Device under LAN Mode 2.1 Device List A drop-down menu is available in the device by a right-click and choose the Open Web Page, like Figure

4 Figure Webpage Settings under LAN Mode An identity check dialog is available, like figure 3.1( the admin is set as default user name and password), and enter device web by clicking OK. ( A 32 bit IE9 browser is highly recommended as other browsers can t support the modification of sectional parameter ) Figure 3.1 3

5 3.1 Network Settings Wired Network (1) When using a wired network, camera will obtain dynamic IP address automatically, no need manual setting. (2) When there are many devices, for a better management, a regular IP can be set: click Wired Network of Network Settings in the menu to mark Static IP Address, then click Save after inputting the IP address to the device (It could be diagramed as in 3.2). it takes effect after rebooting the system. Figure 3.2 DNS will be varied due to different network service operators. Please set camera DNS same as PC DNS or router DNS to access the internet. Remark: Figure 3.3 (1)Generally, the original IP address and DNS address will be defaulted as an automatic acquisition. 4

6 (2) Please make sure whether the IP has been occupied by other device in the LAN If a manual setting IP is required. (3) To take effect, reboot the system after modifying the device Wireless Network Choose the Wireless Network in Network settings after opening web. Like figure 3.4. Figure 3.4 Click Search and select the WIFI needed. Input the correct password, select Enable and click Save. See figure in 3.5. To take effect, reboot the system. 5

Remark: (1) Settings must be based on a wired connection (2) Wired network connection is recommended. (3) Above settings is only available in cameras that support WIFI function. AX-503and AX-603 don't support WIFI modul. (4) With one router, 4 items of Ansee device can be connected at most to guarantee the communicated effect before connecting with other wireless network. 3.2 Audio and Video Settings Video parameters Video parameter is available in Video settings after opening Audio & Video settings. Like figure

8 OSD: On screen display. Location infomation display can be set by Enable and Disable. For users convenience, the user-defined information can be set by install Location, which takes effect by a Save click. Figure Audio Settings Audio parameter is available in the Audio settings after opening Audio & Video settings. Like figure 3.7. The volume of microphone and loudspeaker can be adjusted according to a reality condition. To take effect, click Save. Figure 3.7 7

9 3.2.3 Image Settings Image Settings is available in Audio & Video settings after open web. Like figure 3.8. Picture quality can be modified by a module in the right; The image would be inverted after checking Mirror. Restore the default parameter quickly by clicking Restore. 10 3.3 Linkage Settings RF Linkage Function RF Linkage Function is available in Linkage settings after opening Web. Like figure Manually input the ID of linkage accessory by clicking Add and click Save. Figure 3.10 Users can tick the Enable or not according to their requirement. The device can be deleted by ticking the Delete and saved by clicking Save RF Linkage Settings RF Linkage Settings is available in Linkage Settings. Like figure Figure

11 Users can choose what they need by accessory in right or left side: when selecting the left side accessory, the red frame means that it s checked. Select the linkage accessory in the right side and it takes effect after clicking Save. Linkage function will be disabled if you don't tick it. Clear Linkage will clear all the linkage settings Internet Linkage Device Normally, the linkage between Host and slave machines are used in alarming device. When the host machine can t detect all of the defense zones, the slave machine can assist host by snap shooting and recording in some place where the host machine can t work. The linkage between host and slave machine requires that their LAN(or router) must be same. Moreover, it needs to set a fixed IP which can not conflict with other devices (e.g. computer). (1) slave machine settings Set a fixed IP for slave machine. Like figure Steps: Opening Linkage settings ----> Internet Linkage Device ----> Device Work Status ----> Slave----> Save Take effect after rebooting. Like figure Figure 3.12 (2) Host machine settings Set a fixed IP for host machine. The setting way is ditto. 10

12 Tick Host in Internet Linkage Device and search the related slave machine. Click Stop search, then choose the linkage slave machine. Tick Enable, to set a easy distinguished name for slave machine, then choose Save, the host and slave one will be taken effect after reboot. It could be diagramed as in Figure 3.13 Remark: (1) Please make sure that the device has this function and it can take effect after reboot. please look at for the operation about reboot. (2) More than one slave machine can be linked by one host machine. (3) By default, RF module is not available in NO.AX-603. (4) A well-known router brand is recommended. 3.4 System Settings Device Information Device Information is available in System Settings. In this page, the users can check the information of device ID, style and connection status with router. It could be diagramed as in

13 Figure Disk Management Disk Management is available in System Settings. In this page, the users can check the disk status of device and capacity status of SD card in camera. It could be diagramed as in Figure Alarm Settings Alarm Settings is available in System Setting. It could be diagramed as in

14 Figure 3.16 A segment alarming video can be uploaded to server or defense platform when alarming. Pre-record: Start a record before alarm occurs. Duration: The length of alarming record. During this period, record will be uploaded to server. Alarm Intervals: The interval between last alarm and next alarm. During interval, the alarm will not respond again. Alert Duration: When alarm occurs, without any operation to device, The responding time of audible and visual alarm will stop automatically If it exceeds the set time Defense Zone Management Defense zone management: to manage the accessory, It can add a new accessory, choose enable or disable status, modify the name of accessory or delete it, set up alarm zone and modify information of other accessories. 13

15 Figure 3.17 When adding new accessory, click RF Learning and boot up the new accessory so that it can send a signal to the host machine. Then click Refresh after the host machine making a sound of Di. At that time, there is a new accessory in the bottom of the list. Tick it and it will be taken effect after clicking Save. It could be diagramed as in Stop Learning will stop adding new accessory. Users can operate the accessory by setting up its alarm delay, snapshot, record, output, linkage and preset position etc. Users can stop the alarm by removing Enable tick or choosing Delete directly. Take effect after clicking Save. It could be diagramed as in Remark : Figure 3.18 IR Detect, the name of Alarm zone, can be only available in AX-203 for the own function Arming Plan Arming Plan,setting up the time of arming and disarming, is available in System settings. It could be diagramed as in

It could be diagramed as in Figure 3.20 Users can set up the record time of every day by ticking Enable, Delete and Save Time Settings If camera is in internet, it will update time automatically from server. If not, users can update time manually in the Time Settings. It could be diagramed as in

19 Device Log Check the device Log and running status. Device Log can be downloaded by a right-click (the default name is log_ipcam. log ). It could be diagramed as in Figure
