ME EoMS is December 12, 2017 SMGR R6 and WebLM R6 will EoMS with other Avaya Aura R6 software target mid 2018 Summary Effective December 12, 2016 Avaya will no longer sell (make commercially available) the Avaya Aura System Manager (SMGR) Release 6 and WebLM Release 6 applications. Also effective December 12, 2016 (or when inventory is exhausted, whichever comes first) Avaya will no longer sell (make commercially available) the Midsize Enterprise Release 6 offer, which includes the CSR2 Server. Customers wishing to purchase the Midsize Enterprise Release 6 offer beyond December 12, 2016, can purchase Avaya Aura Release 7, which enables customers to mix and match Avaya Aura applications on a single server and duplicate what is available on the midsize Enterprise R6 offer. Avaya Aura System Manager is a centralized, browser based administration application for the Avaya Aura core, network and surrounding applications. It comes in two offers, as an Avaya appliance or as an OVA for deployment in a customer provided Virtualization Environment. Avaya Aura Standalone WebLM is a Web-based license manager. WebLM is designed to support Avaya software products that require licensing. WebLM is available as a standalone OVA or embedded within System Manager.

2 The Avaya Aura Solution for Midsize Enterprise is aimed at Midsize Business Solutions and a bundle of Avaya Aura applications that includes CM, SM, SMGR, AES, US, and PS all running in a template on System Platform. End of Manufacturer Support Notes: Avaya Aura Soluiton for Midsize Enterprise (ME) will follow the standard lifecycle policy and will End of Manufacturer Support (EoMS) which is 12 months after the ME EoS date, making the EoMS for ME December 12, Midsize Enterprise release will continue to be supported and periodic Service Packs until the EoMS. System Manager and WebLM do not include any plan to initiate the End of Manufacturing Support (EoMS) period. The System Manager 6.3.x and WebLM 6.3.x release will continue to be supported and periodic Service Packs will continue to be rolled out to address any new defects or security enhancements. For these two Aura 6 applications, Avaya plans to align with the End of Manufacture Support (EoMS) dates that will be defined in the near future by the larger Avaya Aura 6 offering. Upgrades from earlier versions of release 6 for all three applications will continue to be available to the latest release 6 versions of the applications. For example, System Manager 6.1 upgrade to System Manager (or latest version available). Upgrades from earlier versions (i.e. System Manager 5.2) will need to upgrade directly to System Manager 7.x (i.e x or later version). 3 Avaya now offers the following alternative solution(s). 1. System Manager Release and WebLM Release will be substituted for any NEW system orders for stem Manager Release 6.x and WebLM Release 6.x. Release of System Manager and WebLM are backward compatible to all the latest Avaya Aura Release 6 applications that can be shipped as new, in addition to many other applications (latest releases shipped) in the Avaya portfolio. For example, CS1000, IP Office, Conferencing, xcaas, POD FX, Contact Center application. 2. Midsize Enterprise (ME) Release 6 A customer or partner looking to purchase a new Release 6 Midsize Enterprise solution will now order an Avaya Aura 7 solution. Avaya Aura 7 enables customer to create like-for-like Midsize Enterprise solutions (all the same applications on a single server, at the same capacity levels). In addition, Avaya Aura 7 enables customers/partners to mix and match only the applications that they want to use (which was not available with the fixed ME solution). Successor System Manager and WebLM Applications ASD must be used to process Avaya Aura 7 solutions to ensure that all desired application codes are generated based on deployment option and capacity defined for the desired solution.
