New Interface: Reading and Reviewing The most noticeable change in Acrobat DC is the interface. It has been significantly streamlined and configured with common workflows in mind. When reading or reviewing a document Acrobat DC allows you to quickly enter Reading Mode, as well as customize the position and behavior of common navigation controls including page flow, selection tools, and page navigation. Home, Tools, and Document views let you switch between Local and online files, authoring and editing tools, and the current document Save, upload, print and Learn more about Acrobat DC My Account Side panes easily collapse and expand to provide a more immersive reading experience Heads-up Display (HUD) can be docked in the toolbar or set to display on hover 3 Adobe Document Cloud
New Interface: Getting Work Done Acrobat DC sports a new Tools Center that shows all of the tools available to you. In addition to a graphical representation, tools, and tool features, are searchable in the upper left area of the Tools Center. When a tool is selected the view switches back to the Document and all tool options are displayed in the context-sensitive toolbar. Tools The new Tools Center gives you a bird s eye view of the many authoring and reviewing tools available Context-Sensitive Toolbar When a tool is selected a set of tool-specific commands appears in the toolbar Tool Options Some tools provide additional options, which are displayed in the right pane 4 Adobe Document Cloud
New Interface: Your Home (and Away) Screen The new streamlined interface is also available in the mobile version of Acrobat DC, enabling you to not only view, but to create and edit, PDF documents on your tablet and phone! Open and save PDF files from multiple locations, including many popular services Same great tools are also available on your mobile device 5 Adobe Document Cloud
Editing PDF on Mobile Making changes to a PDF on mobile is as simple as tapping on the text you want to change. Tap the Edit PDF tool, then select text in the PDF. In addition to editing text you can change font and formatting. Tap on the icon to display the left pane Select Edit PDF, then simply tap on the text in the PDF you wish to edit 6 Adobe Document Cloud
Getting Documents Signed: Fill & Sign Do you have a printed document you would rather have as a PDF? Or perhaps a printed form you d rather return via ? Combine the power of Acrobat DC mobile and desktop apps to convert photos into PDF files that you can adjust, edit, and electronically sign. Use Acrobat DC mobile to take a photo of a document Enhance Scan to orient, crop, and adjust the exposure Choose Fill & Sign to add information to the PDF Share or Save image to Document Cloud, or other online drive service (i.e. Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) Add text Save and send your newly created, and signed, PDF file and a signature 7 Adobe Document Cloud
Edit and Reuse PDF Sometimes you need to make a lot of edits to a PDF. So many that it would be easier to go back to the source document. However, what if you don t have the original file? Acrobat DC contains a ground-breaking feature for creating a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document from nothing more than a PDF! Now, these aren t simple conversions, but rather intelligently constructed documents, complete with images, tables, text formatting, master pages, and even style sheets. Open a PDF file in Acrobat DC, then choose File > Export To > Microsoft Word The resulting Word file Graphics become embedded images and are fully editable with the tools in Word Text formatting is converted to formatting options available in Word, including lists, tab and paragraph indents, rules, and even tables! 8 Adobe Document Cloud Text with consistent formatting attributes are converted to styles that can be edited in Word s Styles panel
Optimizing PDF Optimizing a PDF can greatly reduce file size, control images, fonts and help enhance your user s experience. This gives you full control, not to mention easy and fast. Select Optimize PDF You can optimize your PDF settings 9 Adobe Document Cloud
