To sign out: Go to the Main Menu. Select the user image to go to the User Account screen. Select Sign Out. You will need to enter your password to use the app again. Check Ocli 1 s Security Level Go to Main Menu > Security Center > Detect. Observeye Viewer will survey your security settings and provide the current status of the four system security features: Device Password Strength: Reports whether your Ocli 1 password is weak or strong. Recovery Reports whether you have designated an address for password recovery information to be sent to in the event that you forget your password. Gesture Password: Reports whether you have created a gesture password for logging into the Observeye Viewer app. Firmware: Indicates whether your Observeye camera firmware is up to date. If an item has a check mark to the right, it s set up and its security level is strong. If it has an exclamation point, it needs your attention. Setting each of these four items will ensure that your Ocli 1 camera and Observeye Viewer app are secure. You can select each item in the Security Center to change its setting. 85

86 Customize or Change Your Ocli 1 s Name You can select a name for your Ocli 1 camera by going to its Settings section and selecting the camera summary information. Check the Connection Status To see whether your Ocli 1 camera is powered on and connected to a network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, open the Observeye Viewer app and look at the Camera View Window on the Home screen. If you have selected Autoplay, live video will play automatically in the Camera View Window on the Home screen as soon as you open the app. If you do not have Autoplay activated, select the Play icon in the center of the Camera View Window to start the live video stream. 91

92 If your Ocli 1 is not powered on and connected to a network, you will see a static image from the last time Ocli 1 was connected, but you will not see a live stream. The Observeye Viewer app will attempt to connect to Ocli 1 and produce the error message Connect timeout when it fails. Check the Connection Speed The quality of your live video stream depends on the speed of your Ocli 1 s connection to the Internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. A very slow data throughput speed can cause slow, choppy, or inconsistent video performance. To check the speed of your connection, look at the lower right corner of your Ocli 1 s Camera View Window on the Home screen. You will see the speed indicated there in bytes per second (B/s) or kilobytes per second (kb/s). When you tap the Camera View Window to go to the Camera View Screen, you will also see the connection speed displayed there, under the live view image. Note that the camera s local files, such as motion detection alert messages, will also be deleted when you select Delete. Live Viewing with Ocli 1 Select the Camera Display Mode The Observeye Viewer app can display your camera status and view in two formats: List and Thumbnail. If you are using multiple cameras, the List format is useful because it shows you an overview of all of your cameras on one page and allows you to select each of them for a larger live view. If you are using a single camera, the Thumbnail format is a good choice, because it can show you a live video feed as soon as you go to your Home screen. To select the camera display mode: Go to Home > More 92

93 At Camera Display Mode, select Thumbnail or List. Autoplay When your camera display mode is set to Thumbnail, you can set the Observeye Viewer app to automatically start showing the live video stream from your Ocli 1 when you go to the Home screen. To activate this Autoplay feature: Go to Home > More Make sure your camera display mode is set to Thumbnail. Tap the Autoplay options Select an Autoplay option: Only on WiFi networks: Select this if you do not want to use mobile data for streaming live video to your app. Always: Select this if you want the Observeye Viewer app to automatically stream live video from your Ocli 1 every time you open the app. Do not autoplay: Select this if you do not want the Observeye Viewer app to stream live video from your Ocli 1 automatically. To start live streaming, you will need to tap the Play icon. View Live Video To view a live video stream from your Ocli 1, open the Observeye Viewer app. If you have set the camera display mode to Thumbnail and activated Autoplay, live video will start streaming into your Camera View Window as soon as you open the app. If you have set the camera display mode to Thumbnail but have not activated Autoplay, tap the Play icon in the middle of the Camera View Window to start viewing live video. If you have set the camera display mode to List, select your Ocli 1 camera in the list of cameras that appears when you open the Observeye Viewer app. The Camera View screen will open and live video will start streaming in the Camera View Window. View Full Screen Video To see a full-screen view of the live video stream from your Ocli 1, select the Full-Screen icon in the lower left corner of the Camera View Window on the Home screen or Camera View screen. You can return to the smaller Camera View Window by tapping the full-screen view once to make the control icons appear, then selecting the Exit Full Screen icon in the lower right corner. Your voice will be heard through Ocli 1 s built-in speaker or an external speaker that you have connected to your Ocli 1. To use Talk: Go to Home > Camera View screen Select Talk. If you are using a full-screen camera view, tap the screen once to reveal the Talk icon. Listen To listen to people and pets who are near your Ocli 1, use the Listen feature.
