Space/High reliability *M and *M connectors meet stringent tests for outgassing and residual magnetism and are suitable for use in space, medical, and high performance military/aerospace applications. *M and *M connectors meet the performance and dimensional requirements of the S/S 3401 and MIL-TL specifications. *M and *M connectors are available in standard and high density layouts. The ole plant (rance) is qualified by S for the supply of *Subminiature connectors and accessories, according to the Generic Specification S/S 3401, and the applicable etail Specifications : - S/S 3401/001 (*M connectors) - S/S 3401/002 (*M connectors) - S/S 3401/004 (*M oaxial contacts) - S/S 3401/005 (*M rimp contacts) - S/S 3401/020 (*M connectors saver) - S/S 3401/021 (*M contacts saver) - S/S 3401/022 (ccessories) - S/S 3401/040 (*M Power contacts) irst qualification obtained in 1981, and renewed every 2 years. The suffix R023 is used in the description, when no M24308 reference is available. "ommercial Space Grade". onnector Specification R022, amendment to the S/S Generic Specification 3401, for low cost products manufactured : - in the same S qualified site - through the same manufacturing and control processes - with the same piece parts - with lighter controls, documentation and traceability This ommercial Space Grade is replacing the previous K47 and K52 series. pplications : ngineering models, ground equipments, testing, some flight equipments (no need for high requirements). The connectors and accessories, supplied according to these 3 quality levels, are totally compatible, interchangeable, and intermateable, as they are manufactured with the same piece parts in the same S and MIL qualified site. 7
