3 1.Basic concepts Alice is an education programming language which makes it easy for people to create 3D animations and videos as they learn fundamental programming concepts. Alice teaches programming concepts for creating animated movies with its friendly interface and storytelling. Features Alice is a freely available, innovative way of teaching OOP concepts to students through storytelling. Object-oriented programming Object-oriented programming expresses a computer program as a set of these objects, which encapsulate data with function and provide regulated communicate between each other to perform tasks. 6 Objects Activity 1 Choose a virtual world and insert the objects you prefer. Use the program gallery. Change the appearance of the background and objects using color and texture in properties area. Change the position of the objects using the control buttons. Do a simple motion using the commands in methods area. Save the activity in the personal folder with the name activity 1. 8 Click on the method and drag it drop it in your method editor. Example: Activity 2 Choose a virtual world and insert the objects you prefer. Use the program gallery. Do a simple motion using the commands in methods area. For example: walk, jump, turn, and so on. Save the activity in the personal folder with the name activity 2. Create a free animation applying all topics seen during the term. Save the activity in the personal folder with the name activity 5. Activity 6 Glossary Activity: Click below on the picture and read the glossary about terms in Alice and. Choose gravity activity for doing it. In options choose by term and easy level. 12 Assessment criteria Idntify Alice program as a tool for programming 3D animations. Recognize graphical user interface of Alice, its tools, and commands necessaries for create 3D animations. Create interactive animations using buttons and methods for programming. Save the activities in their personal folder. Note: All activities will be saved in the personal folder of the students and tested at the final of each class by part of the teacher.
