2 p1 Getting Started Before you begin, please have your smartphone or tablet, running either Android 4.1 (or later) or ios 8.0 (or later), available. Please make sure that all of the parts from the box are present and undamaged. If any part is missing or damaged, please contact the Support centre. The parts may look different than illustrated. 3 p2~p3 Plug in the Trend Micro Home Network Security Station Install the Trend Micro Home Network Security App to Activate Protection Step 1 Plug the power adaptor and the Ethernet/LAN cable into the Station. Then connect the Station to one of your wireless router s Ethernet/LAN ports and plug the power adapter into a power outlet. If you have more than one wireless router, please connect the Station to the router that connects to the majority of your devices. If the light remains red for more than 1 minute, please consult the Light Status table on page 7. 4 p4~p5 Step 5 Next, install the Trend Micro Home Network Security app. Search for the Trend Micro Home Network Security app in the App Store, if you are using an iphone or an ipad, or in Google Play if you are using an Android device. Step 7 Type your Pairing Code Pairing Code The app is used to activate your Station s protection and to manage your devices. Step 6 After installation, open the Trend Micro Home Network Security app and agree to the Trend Micro License Agreement. 4 Step 8 The app will connect automatically to your Station. If the app does not connect to the Station within one minute, you will be prompted to scan the Station Code on the label of the Station. The label can be found on the bottom of the Station. 5

5 p6~p7 Light Status Step 9 Create your Trend Micro Account. If you already have a Trend Micro Account, you can sign in. Steady Green Normal Blinking Green Ready to setup Steady Red No Internet connection or subscription has expired Blinking Red The Station is starting or updating firmware. Please wait until the light is green. Blinking Red and Green System error FAQ Setup Complete You are ready to enjoy the protection of Trend Micro Home Network Security. How will I know if the Station is properly installed? You will see a green light on the Station which indicates that it is working properly. How can I download and install the mobile app? From Google Play or the App Store, search for the Trend Micro Home Network Security app, then tap the install button. How can I check the devices on my network? The Station automatically checks devices that are connected to your home network. If you would like to check your devices manually, open the Trend Micro Home Network Security app, go to the Timeline and tap the Check Devices button. How do I contact support? Station light blinks red and green If the light on the front of the Station blinks red and green, please visit for assistance. Slow or no Internet connection If your Internet connection is slow or is no longer working, there may be a compatibility issue. Please visit for assistance. Devices are not visible If you do not see your devices in the app, please make sure they are connected to your home network and are turned on.
