20 Allen McKinley is truly an example of hard work paying off. He is currently employed full time as a Sales Manager, and also works with various companies in wheelchair industry as a Relationship Manager. When Allen isn t working hard in his day jobs, he is spreading smiles at local comedy clubs. He has performed stand up for the last three years, pursuing the adrenaline rush that he once enjoyed as a semi-professional snowboarder. Never settling, he has taken his hobby of stand up to 20 + states and performs weekly at the world famous Comedy Store. Understanding that giving time is the greatest gift of all, Allen (with best friend Murphy also pictured) spend one night every week at Rady s Children s hospital in San Diego running a playroom for patients. He recently received the Golden Pin award for his 5+ years of volunteering. Once Allen understood how much easier great equipment could make his new life in a wheelchair, there was no turning back.
