2 Aesculap Universal Storage System Organisation and protection of surgical instruments Surgical instruments are valuable assets for every hospital, which is why they should be processed as efficiently and gently as possibly. Therefore, protecting the instruments during sterilisation, as well as in transport to sterile supply stores and to the operating room, is of crucial importance. The new Aesculap organisation system for instrument trays facilitates the safe storage especially of delicate instruments and small items. The trick is: Individual storage devices can be fastened from above or from the base of the tray using a simple clamp, without any laborious fastening procedure involving screws and nuts. 11 Mounting A for instrument racks with fixation pin Insert fixation pin JG 300 in the rack. Install rack with fixation pin in the tray. 2 Push the fixation pin, then turn it by 45. Mounting B for silicone holders with fixation clamps 1 Press fixation clamp JG 301 R into tray from below. 2 Slide in silicone holder sideways. 2 1 Mounting C for silicone racks in tray inserts 1 Pull the silicone rack through the longitudinal slots in the tray. 1 Mounting D for trocar racks 1 Lock both lugs of the storage rack in the tray perforation. 1 11
