Features: All dimensions comply with DIN standard, thus guaranteeing an economical rate of utilization of the sterilizers. Container lids and bottoms are made of anodized aluminum-alloy, therefore, due to the thermal conductivity of the material an optimum drying phase is achived. All standard size containers can be stacked, thus space and economic storage problems are eliminated. Wire baskets can also be stacked to prevent valuable instruments from being damaged during preparation of the sets. Removal containers; ideal for safe return of dirty instruments and textiles without any risk of cortamination during transportation after operation. Wraping drapes provide a safe sterile medium in the containers and wire baskets; and guarantee the sterilized contents againts contamination when they are taken out for operation. Ensures an economic and long lasting sterilization. Sterilization: We recommend following steam sterilization procedures for our containers with perforated lids and non-perforated bottoms, as specified in DIN 58946/6 standard. For fractional flow procedure: A few jets of saturated steam of p e >= 1 bar is generally sufficient to remove the air out of sterilizing chamber. For fractional vacuum procedure: Repeated evacuation up to a pressure of < 130 mbar in exchange with steam inflow up to a pressure above or below an atmospheric pressure. Maintaining of steam inflow until the working overpressure is reached. For steam injection procedure (Vacuum procedure): Single evacuation up to a pressure of < 70 mbar with simultaneous low steam inflow. Maintaining of steam inflow until the working pressure is reached. For further assistance regarding all other gravitation and prevacuum procedures as specified in DIN 58953/9 standard, please refer to the table on next page. 3

5 Info containers basic model Basic model containers are produced with perforated or non-perforated bottom. Filters are not protected against contamination from liquids, dust and other mechanical effects. Lids are available in 6 different colours. General front view Each cantainer contains two identification labels; one for surgical department which the container belongs to; one for the name of operation. They are easily slid into their built-in slots and firmly secured by a spring enforcement. Indicator labels are filled by an autorized surgeon before sterilisation process and inserted into their spring-enforced slots. The security seal is used to keep the container lock safe from unauthorized opening, and automatically breaks up only when locking flap is lifted. 5

6 Info containers safe model Safe containers are fitted with a safety lid protecting filters. They are supplied either with filters or without filters. Safety lids are supplied in 6 different colours Locking flaps (1) are movable 180 on a pivot and can be secured in any position.silicon sealings (2) are provided around the lid, in the center and periphery of the round filter retainer, completely recessed The filter retainer is locked by pressing down with a thumb in th direction of (1) and open when pressed with a thumb in the direction of (2). 4 5 To lift off container lid: push lock (4) in the direction of arrow and hold lid latch, pull in the direction of arrow (5). For mounting safety lid, simply place it on container lid and press down. 6
