2 Shutter Box Grade Level Boxes The "Shutter Box" Series of grade level boxes (handholes) contain all of the threaded studs and swingarm attachments required to field-retrofit the grade level box after installation. The boxes have three sets of factory-installed threaded studs on the sidewall. These threaded studs permit technicians to install optional racks and sidewall mounting brackets in the field. A pre-installed swing-arm mounting plate permits the installation of a swing arm equipment mounting plate, a Bracket Mounted Terminal (BMT ), or a fiber tap mounting plate, as required. Field replaceable threaded floating nut assembly installed in bolt-down cover options. Swing-arm assembly mounted on pre-installed attachment plate. Pre-installed attachment plate.
