A CMS SYSTEM CONSISTS OF: The system consists of: Gateway installed on a spa/hot Tub WEBSITE ios (Apple) mobile app or Android mobile app website with log-in and access to spas website with Login and access to spas CMS GATEWAY gateway installed on a spa/hot tub SMARTPHONE TABLET The Logins: The ios or Android apps can only be accessed with an owner log-in ios (Apple) mobile app and/or Android Mobile app The website can be accessed with an owner log-in.

A Retrofit User Guide 7 CONTROLMYSPA GATEWAY INSTALLATION ON SPA PLAN FOR SET-UP: Although the gateway can be mounted anywhere in the spa and function properly, for best possible reception and range, the gateway should be mounted in the spa as high up in the spa as is reasonable. The antenna should also be swiveled so that it s pointing straight up, if possible.

A Gateway Installation on Spa Step 1 Ensure All Power is Disconnected to Spa Ways to tell if the spa controller is from Balboa Water Group The Control System Serial Number has Balboa on it Warning: WARNING: All high voltage electrical work should only be performed by a trained and licensed electrician. All electrical work performed should comply with national and local electrical codes and regulations applicable for the location of the Spa. The Control System PCBA has Balboa on it Step 2 Ensure The Spa Controller is made by Balboa Water Group (BWG) NOTE: If your spa does not have a Control System made by Balboa Water Group (BWG), then ControlMySpa cannot be used.

A Retrofit User Guide 9 ControlMySpa Gateway Installation on Spa Step 3: Ensure The Spa Controller is a BP Series Spa Control System Ways to Tell if the Spa Controller is a BP Series Spa Control System: Control System A. The Control System Enclosure Sticker has BP on it. Note: Not all BP Enclosure Stickers have BP on them, but many do. Serial Number B. The Control System Serial Number has a BP in the model number. Note: Not all BP Serial Numbers have BP in the model number, but many do. PC Board C. The Control System PC Board has Four Pin Molex Female Connectors. Only BP Control Systems from Balboa Water Group have these connectors on the PC Board, and all BP Systems must have them. NOTE: If your spa does not have a BP Control System, then cannot be used.

A STEP 4 STEP 6 Using a Screw Driver, Remove the Enclosure Cover from the BP Control System in your Spa Connect low voltage cable from Gateway to BP Spa Controller STEP 5 Plug Gateway Power Cable into A/V Power Port on BP Spa Controller. Connect the low voltage RS485 cable to the spa data bus. The 4-pin connector connects to any available panel port, or to a splitter already connected to a panel port. Please make sure you connect in the correct plug orientation. Connect the white AMP connector to the A/V Port in the BP System. The AMP connector should only connect to the A/V port on the BP pack. In case there is something already using the A/V port, use the provided splitter cable to connect both that and the gateway to the A/V port. The A/V port is J33 on the BP2000/2100/6013 board, and J47 on the BP501/601 board. STEP 7 Connect the Antenna to the Gateway NOTE: Gateway Power Must be Plugged into Pack A/V Port. Do not use any other Ports, as the Gateway will get turned off by a relay and ControlMySpa will not function properly. The antenna should be turned so it is pointing straight up.

CMS Code is an 8 digit letter/number combination that all Spa owners must have to use spas equipped with the system Spa owners will need this CMS code to setup and connect their spas in the database. The CMS code connects your spa to your OEM and Dealer for service and support EXAMPLE CMS Code: ABC ABC = 3 letter code unique to each spa Manufacturer or OEM = 5 number code unique to each spa Dealer or Distributor Note: If you do not have a CMS Code, contact You Spa Dealer or the Company that sold you the Gateway for Retrofit on your existing spa.

A Easy No Touch Setup Overview Set-up is done by Spa Owner using the CMS App and CMS Code Step 1: Setup Spa Owner User Account Step 2: Connect Spa to the Wi-Fi Step 3: Enjoy Your Spa! 1. Spa Owners use the Spa Owner User Account to login to the ios and Android Apps as well as the Web Portal. 2. Use the Smart Phone apps to setup an account in the CMS Database, which results in the user receiving a Login and Password. 3. Follow instructions in the app using a smart phone or tablet 4. address the user provides in the setup will be the User ID 5. Once account is setup using the app, the Cloud will send an automated to the user provided ad dress containing the login pass word. 6. If the Spa Owner was previously provided a login and password for the Spa Owner Account, then user can Skip Step Follow Steps in the App to connect spa to the Home Wi-Fi Network 2. The App scans locally available Wi-Fi Networks, which the user can select 3. Alternatively, the user can manually enter the Wi-Fi Router Login and Password Relax and Enjoy!

The app will automatically take the user to the next step, which is to connect the spa to the home Wi-Fi. AP Mode indefinitely until it reconnects to the router (3.) or connects to a phone (1.) with the app.
