SIMBERRY has developed a proprietary VPN service based on its own technology providing a maximum of security for data content transferred over internet. In addition, the Premium VPN service includes innovative RTP compression headers technology with the most efficient bandwidth reduction over the market, even with one single channel. 3 2- Premium Call Filter SIMBERRY provides to the call termination market a unique service making possible to reduce significantly the impact of robot dialer blocking your SIM cards. Once the robot dialer hunter has hit a SIM card it is too late to take any action on the SIM card to protect it for the future. Managing with blacklisting and whitelisting mechanisms has become useless as there is no relation to the number or the call duration or the signaling part. IMPORTANT: SIMBERRY call filter has only one goal: Increase your revenue of your SIMs/operation and get less SIM blocked. SIMBERRY has developed a preemptive call filter algorithm, based on multiple criteria and level of protection in order to score and allowed or not a call to use a SIM card from your system. Principle: Your customer sends your traffic you need to filter. From your softswitch simply define a VOIP trunk to Premium Call Filter with only the required destination or customer to filter. Premium Call Filter rates the call and will provide answer to your softswitch with a specific prefix for UNSAFE CALLS and SAFE CALLS. What is the price for such complete and premium solution? Our Pay as you use business model, make our Premium Call Filter very useful and affordable to get more revenue out of your SIM cards. No hidden cost or setup fee. A fee of $0.005 per minute (or $5 per 1000 minutes) on your SAFE trunk*. Ex: You send calls rated as UNSAFE and 5000 rated as SAFE. Among these 5000 calls SAFE, you have been able to terminate 1000 minutes. 4 How to proceed to test PREMIUM CALL FILTER: 1) Subscribe MySIMBERRY portal ( 2) Register Helpdesk account ( è Send to Helpdesk user you have created to allow you to submit tickets and request your credit bonus. There are 3 ways how build your VOIP route using Call Filter solution: Customers send to your Softswitch then you redirect traffic to Call Filter IP: Filter examine traffic and divide it into 2 groups: Safe and Unsafe. After processing traffic will be sent back to your Softswitch with different tech prefixes for safe/unsafe calls. Safe calls can be connected via your own Gateways, unsafe calls should be directed to another route. Customers send to your Softswitch then you redirect traffic to Call Filter IP: Filter examine traffic and divide it into 2 groups: Safe and Unsafe. After processing safe traffic will be sent directly to your Gateways, and unsafe calls will be routed to your backup route. You don't have Switch? No problem! This case your customers can directly send traffic to Call Filter IP: Filter examine traffic and divide it into 2 groups: Safe and Unsafe. After processing safe traffic will be sent directly to your Gateways, and unsafe calls will be routed to your backup route. 3) Most of the configuration is on your softswitch creating a VOIP trunk (if you select option 1 & 2) 4) MySIMBERRY portal configuration Call Filter menu (2nd logo) ->Service Access -> Add new equipment

5 .Equip title = Name you want to define to this equipment (ex: Customer 1) You can create many equipment ex: different traffic providers.inbound endpoint.allowed calls endpoint.blocked & overflow calls endpoint = IP of your soft switch (Sip signaling only, no media!) = SAFE calls + Tech prefix = UNSAFE calls + Tech prefix 5) Select destination and level Settings Unless our support team notice you to use specific level, please click on level 3 when you start your test. Level 3 is stricter and Level 1 is more permissive. N.B: you can download USER GUIDE at any time from MySIMBERRY (clicking on your account name, at the top right).

6 SIMBERRY Recommendations: Route UNSAFE calls It is recommended to route call even if it is UNSAFE. You can either route the calls to a small group of SIM card that can be sacrificed or send the calls to a backup route. Why? - To avoid low ASR - If all UNSAFE calls are always dropped/disconnected, then the UNSAFE number could never be rated as SAFE in the future and SIMBERRY Premium Call Filter will be less accurate. - To avoid operator sees hunting calls rejected and change their rules of detection Upload CDRs Importing CDRs into your Call Filter will help us to adapt filters according your traffic profile. Call Filter can take better decisions based on your operation profile. Without CDRs, Call Filter can work but it will need more time to learn from the traffic you will send into it. In order to feed Call Filter and help to take good decision faster, you can upload your CDR directly from your MySIMBERRY portal. (Call Filter menu > Upload CDR) Communication and feedback It is very important for us to get your feedback and information. Indeed, a filter rule can be too strong (you get a low ratio of SAFE calls) or too low. Operators could have changed something on their detection rules and suddenly you can see that your SIM blocking increase versus previous weeks (using call filter). We recommend you to test at least 1 day with each Filter level of the ones enabled for your destination (1-3) where 3 is stricter and 1 is the most permissive. Please share Information about: Statistics ACD and ASR SIM Blockage Ratio It is important to mention statistics BEFORE and AFTER using Call Filter. It will help us to take any action to modify or improve our Filter performance. Please, Submit a ticket with above information so we can analyze. IMPORTANT: Call Filter is only filtering calls from the traffic you get. We do recommend you to use all features you have with your gateway/sim server than can help you to protect more your SIMs. Operators are also monitoring SIM usage & behavior, way you recharge your SIM, BTS.Combined with Call Filter can be much more efficient for your SIMs. As each customer has a different traffic profile, SIM usage, operation profile Call Filter can have different results into each operation. Call Filter needs to adapt itself based on your profile. That s why it can take days to get any improvement on your SIMs (increase minutes out of your SIM before get blocked). As per last point, communication is very important to reach this mutual goal, increase your business!
