2 1. What is ACN Globe Call? ACN Globe Call is a new tariff plan for the ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) proposition. Customers now have a choice of selecting either ACN Globe Call or ACN Smart, depending upon their specific calling needs. 2. How does ACN Globe Call work? The ACN Globe Call tariff plan for the United Kingdom allows customers to place calls to both fixed-line and mobile international destinations according to the specified bundle allocations below: Country Large Bundle Minutes Small Bundle Minutes Total Monthly Minutes United Kingdom 1, ,140 Customers may use the bundles as they choose: call one, two, or all of the destinations in the large bundle for a total talk time of 17 hours or 1,020 minutes. 3 Similarly, customers may use the small bundle to call one, two, or all of the destinations in the small bundle for a total talk time of 2 hour or 120 minutes. The list of destinations includes: Sm. Who is the target customer for ACN Globe Call? ACN Globe Call is the perfect plan for customers who frequently call overseas. We have customized these internationally-focused calling plans to include many of ACN s DPS customers favorite calling destinations. 4. Who will benefit from ACN Globe Call? ACN Globe Call is a great second-line option for customers who wish to save money when calling internationally. Low per-minute national rates will also allow customers the ability to replace their current fixed-line telephone with ACN Globe Call, an attractive Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) home phone service. 5. What is Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)? VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is an Internet-based telephony service which allows the customer to place calls via their broadband connection similar to traditional fixed-line phone services without the expensive line-rental cost.

4 6. Are existing ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) customers eligible to upgrade from their current plan to ACN Globe Call? Yes, current ACN customers may upgrade from their existing ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) tariff plans (for example, ACN Nvision, ACN Xtra, ACN Digital One, ACN Digital Plus, and ACN Smart) plans to ACN Globe Call. To do so, current customers should complete the online contact form on the Support page of the ACN Online Shop or or by contacting Customer Services. 7. May customers use the international bundle minutes to place calls to both fixed-line and mobile destinations? Yes, this is the clear advantage of ACN Globe Call. There is now no need for customers to concern themselves with knowing whether a placed call is going to a fixed-line or mobile destination. Simply dial the number and start talking! 8. What if customers use all of their international bundle minutes before the end of the billing period? If customers use all of their minutes, then the standard call rate will apply to those minutes over the monthly minute allowance. Please refer to the pricelist, available at your ACN Online Shop or 9. Is there a way for customers to know how many minutes they have used? Yes. After signing up for ACN Globe Call, customers will receive a welcome with instructions on how to create an account through the ACN Self-care portal. In addition to usage, they will also have the ability to view current and past invoices payments, and more! 10. What if customers place a national (fixed-line or mobile) or any out-ofbundle international call? The standard call rate will apply to these calls, as well as the call set-up fee. In the United Kingdom, local and national fixed-line is / minute, and national mobile is /minute. All calls are rated per second, which means that the customer will only be paying for what they use! 12. Will unused international minutes be carried over to the following month?

5 No. The minute allocation is month-to-month and no minutes will roll-over to the next month. 13. Do calls within the plan have a call set-up fee? Yes. There is a call set-up fee. In the United Kingdom, the call set-up fee 0.03/ call. 14. Are the bundles the same for each country? No. To see our customised ACN Globe Call plans for each country, please refer to your ACN Online Shop or Is there a binding period? Yes, the initial contract term is twelve (12) months. 16. Is there an activation fee? The activation fee is discounted. If the customer does not remain an ACN Digital Phone Service customer until the end of the initial contract period of 12 months, ACN will charge the normal activation fee upon termination. 17. Upon my initial order for ACN Globe Call, what charges should I expect my first invoice to include? You will incur the following charges upon your initial order: ACN Phone Adaptor*, configuration & logistics, and first-month Monthly Recurring Charge. ACN Phone Adaptor: 35.95, including VAT Configuration & Logistics: 14.95, including VAT One-month service of ACN Globe Call: 10.99, including VAT Total: 61.89, including VAT. *Please note that customers who already own an ACN-branded Phone Adaptor may use this same device for the ACN Globe Call tariff. Therefore, customers who select this option with their initial order will not incur a charge for the ACN Phone Adaptor. Our service will enable you to use your existing telephone while benefiting from ACN s low calling rates! 19. How does it work? Simply place an order for one of our very competitive price plans based on your current calling patterns today (ACN Smart or ACN Globe Call) from one of our ACN Representatives. Your ACN Phone Adaptor will arrive in a matter of days. Follow the easy step-by-step guidelines in order to connect your router and telephone. Place your first call, and you will soon be saving money on your monthly telephone bill! 20. What do I need in order to benefit from ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS)? Customers will need 1.) an existing broadband Internet connection such as DSL or Cable with a minimum available upload speed of 128 Kbps, 2.) a billing and shipping address in one of the European countries where ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) is available, and 3.) a credit card for the initial order. Customers must purchase an ACN Phone Adaptor, connecting one of the open ports of the router to the telephone with an Ethernet cable. 21. What is the ACN Phone Adaptor? ACN Phone Adaptor is a device that allows you to use Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology without replacing your traditional fixed-line home phone or purchasing an expensive new VoIP phone. 22. How do I know if my upload speed meets the requirements for ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS)? You may check the upload speed of your Internet connection by visiting and following the instructions on the page. Additionally, you may also confirm the upload speed by reviewing the contract you have with your Internet provider. Please note that the speed specified in your contract will be the maximum upload speed, and therefore may be different throughout the day. 23. May I keep my current phone number? Yes, you may port your current fixed-line telephone number to the ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS).

7 24. Is there anything I should be aware of when porting my current fixed-line telephone number? Yes, if your current fixed-line telephone number is associated with your DSL service, porting is not possible as your line rental will be cancelled, which in most cases, will result in the loss of your DSL service. If you have broadband cable, or another broadband connection not related to the number you would like to port, porting is possible without any loss of your broadband service. Please note that it is important that you do not initiate a cancellation of the service with your current provider as this will prevent ACN from transferring your phone number to our service. Cancellation of your contract with your current fixed-line provider will automatically take place when ACN successfully transfers the line. UK Sky Customers, please note: Unfortunately at this time, ACN is not able to support number porting from Sky due to technical issues. You may still sign-up for ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS), but you will be given a new telephone number. 25. May I port an ISDN number to ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS)? No, you may not port an ISDN number at this time. 26. If I port my number to ACN s Digital Phone Service (DPS), will I be charged a breakage fee for ACN Line Rental? No, if you port your number to ACN s Digital Phone Service (DPS), the breakage fee will not be applied. 27. If I cancel ACN Line Rental and order ACN s Digital Phone Service (DPS), will I be charged a breakage fee? If you would like to use your current fixed-line telephone number with ACN s Digital Phone Service, please do not cancel your ACN Line Rental, but instead request to port your number during the ordering process. In this case, your line rental service will automatically be cancelled and the breakage fee waived. It is important that you are aware of the implications of your DSL service when your line rental is cancelled. If, however, you decide to cancel and not port your telephone number, the applicable termination/breaking fees, as listed in the ACN Line Rental Terms & Conditions, will apply during your initial contract period.

8 Please note, should you request to port your number to ACN s Digital Phone Service (DPS) you will receive a new temporary number until the porting process is complete. Until the time you are notified that the porting process is complete, you may continue to enjoy and use your ACN Line Rental. 28. I have ordered ACN s Digital Phone Service (DPS). Why do I need to pay a breakage fee for ACN Line Rental? The breaking fee for ACN Line Rental is only waived when you port your telephone number to ACN s Digital Phone Service (DPS), as we are promoting the use of this service as a replacement for ACN Line Rental. If you decide to either cancel your ACN Line Rental and not port your telephone number, or decide to transfer your number and/or service to another provider, we assume you are using ACN s Digital Phone Service (DPS) as an additional service. In this case the applicable termination/ breakage fees, as listed in the ACN Line Rental Terms & Conditions, will apply during your initial contract period. 29. Will ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) affect the performance of my Internet connection when using my computer? No, ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) uses advanced audio compression techniques to minimise the data traffic utilisation and to maximise the bandwidth available for your other Internet traffic needs. 30. Is it possible for me to use another Phone Adaptor brand with ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS)? No, only ACN Phone Adaptors may be used with ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS). How to Order Your ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS): 31. Is placing an order online secure? Yes, our web portal is secured with an SSL Certificate which provides the highest level of security for your personal information and payment details. 32. May I order ACN s Digital Phone Service (DPS) without an ACN Phone Adaptor or order an ACN Phone Adaptor without Service? Generally speaking, the service and ACN Phone Adaptor must be ordered together.

9 However, there is one exception for customers who have an existing ACN Phone Adaptor without ACN Service currently. To do so, please select the Activate used ACN Phone Adaptor option while placing an order. 33. How will I know when my ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) has been activated? An will be sent to the address you provided when you placed the order. Installation & Settings 34. May I connect more than one ACN Phone Adaptor to the same telephone number? No, unlike standard phones, you may not connect more than one ACN Phone Adaptor to the same telephone number. You may, however, have multiple ACN Phone Adaptors at the same location with different numbers on one account. 35. May I use Data Cards (Prepaid Internet Access Cards) or Wi-Fi to operate my ACN Phone Adaptor? It is strongly recommended that you do not use Data Cards or Wi-Fi to operate your ACN Phone Adaptor. In addition, ACN cannot answer technical calls related to the use of these items when operating your ACN Phone Adaptor. 36. May I use multiple phone handsets with ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS)? Yes. Many of our ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) customers use cordless phone systems that include both a base unit and additional handsets. The base station of the cordless telephone plugs directly into the phone port of your ACN Phone Adaptor. Multiple handsets may then be placed throughout your home. Alternatively, you may purchase a multiple telephone socket extension connector, and then connect it to the phone port of your ACN Phone Adaptor. This will allow you to use multiple phones with your ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS). 37. If I use multiple phone handsets with ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) and the ACN Phone Adaptor will all phones ring? Yes, all the phones connected to your ACN Phone Adaptor will ring simultaneously.

10 Using Your ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) with the ACN Phone Adaptor 38. How does Call Waiting work? When you are using the phone, you will hear a series of beeps indicating an incoming call. To accept the incoming call and to place the original call party on hold, press your phone's Flash button briefly (1-2 seconds) or simply hold down the "hang up" button on your phone for a short time. To switch back to the original party, briefly press your phone s Flash button or "hang up" button again. 39. How do I make a Three (3)-Party call? Dial the first number you would like to call. Once the person picks up the phone, press the Conference button. This action will automatically put the first caller on hold and allow you to dial the second number. Dial the second person's number and press Dial. Once the second person picks up the phone press the Conference button once again and it will initiate the conference call. 40. How do I know if my ACN Digital Phone Service (DPS) is unavailable? To determine service availability, you will need to pick up the phone connected to your ACN Phone Adaptor, check the dial tone and attempt to make and receive phone calls. Please try dialing more than one number. In addition, please also check if you have correctly installed your ACN Phone Adaptor and ensure that all the cables are securely connected.
