With HP Mobile Connect Pro you get 200MB of data included per month for 3 years and if that s not enough, you can choose from a range of great value local and international data plans. To introduce you to HP Mobile Connect Pro, we would like to offer you 200MB of data per month for 3 years!* Customers who register with HP Mobile Connect Pro can automatically avail of 200MB of data per month for 3 years. During the registration process you will be asked to choose a country from the HP Mobile Connect Pro service footprint, where you would like your monthly data allowance to operate. The inclusive 200MB data will be automatically replenished every 30 days for 3 years, effective from the date of registration. If you think you need more data than the included 200MB per month allowance, you can choose to upgrade to a larger local or international plan. You can easily change plan, from month to month depending on your needs and on expiration of any plan you can always go back to the 200MB plan that is included, meaning you re always in control. *Terms and Conditions apply. 8 Getting Started Windows 8 - HP Mobile Connect Pro App Registration In order to avail of your 200MB free data, you must first register your details. It recommended that you are connected over WIFI or LAN to complete the registration process. The application is started from the HP Mobile Connect Pro tile, found on your Windows 8 desktop. 9 When you click the tile, you will be directed to the Welcome screen. Clicking Next will bring you to the Dashboard [Fig.2] where you must enter some user details, create a username and password, and select the local country where you would like your 200MB free data to operate. Fig.2

10 Clicking the Register button will take you to the Dashboard [Fig.3] where you will see your 200MB free data plan has been applied. You can now use the HP Mobile Connect Pro service. Fig.3 If you would like to upgrade your data allowance, you can do so by clicking Manage My Subscription on the dashboard. The Manage My Subscription page [Fig.4] displays local and European plans which you can upgrade to on a monthly recurring basis, and International plans which you can purchase on a one-off basis.

11 Fig.4 You can change data plan whenever you want depending on your needs and you can go back to the included 200MB at any stage. The new plan is effective as soon as current plan expires or is consumed.

12 Windows 7 - HP Connection Manager Registration Open the HP Connection Manager, located either on your desktop or in your Start menu. Select the Register button to begin the SIM registration process. Please note that the registration process requires that your computer is connected to the Internet. If you do not have Internet connection you will be notified. [Fig.5] Fig.5

13 With a valid LAN or WLAN Internet connection, you should next be prompted to register. [Fig.6] Fig.6 When you click Register, a web browser window will open and you will be asked to enter your name, address, username, and password on the HP Mobile Connect Pro registration screen in order to associate and register your SIM. [Fig.7 overleaf]

14 Fig.7 Input your user details, select the country where you would like your 200MB inclusive data to operate and choose a username and password. Then click Register and Begin Service. This will register your HP Mobile Connect Pro account and apply your inclusive data credit.

15 You will then be asked to activate the SIM. [Fig.8] Fig.8 Click Activate. Finally, your SIM will be registered and activated for HP Mobile Connect Pro use. [Fig.9] Fig.9

16 Your browser will now display the Dashboard [Fig.10] where you will see that your included plan has been applied. You may now begin using the HP Mobile Connect Pro service. Fig.10 If you would like to upgrade your data allowance, you can do so by clicking Manage My Subscription on the dashboard. The Manage My Subscription page [Fig.11] displays local, European and Worldwide plans which you can upgrade to on a monthly recurring basis and International plans which you can purchase on a one-off basis.

17 Fig.11 You can upgrade or downgrade plans at any stage. New plans become effective as soon as current plans expire or reach zero balance. PLEASE NOTE After purchasing a plan, it takes seconds for a connection to be established before you can start using your plan.
