3 INFORMATION CONCERNING EXAMS IN THE SUMMER OF 2019 Relevant link for questions concerning the exam at the Study Pages at KUnet.dk (Under Exam ). Deadline for applications for exemption If you wish to apply for exemption concerning special exam conditions for your summer 2019 exams, you must submit an application to the Board of Studies by no later than 12:00 noon on 2 April Special exam conditions might e.g. be: extended time for the exam, overlap between exams outside the department etc. The form for application for exemption can be found on the programme pages at KUnet.dk (under "Course or study" >> "Exemption"). Timetables The final timetables for oral exams will be announced via the course room in Absalon on the date stated in the exam plan. It is not possible to request special dates for oral exams. If you will be taking exams at other departments in June 2019, you must notify this to the study administration as soon as possible, to avoid exam conflict with your oral exams under Political Science. Remember to include documentation. The deadline for enquiries of this nature concerning the summer exams is 12:00 noon on 2 April Announcement of grades The grades for written exams will be published via Student Self Service on KUnet on the date stated in the exam plan via Student Self Service on KUnet.dk If, contrary to expectations, the grades are not available by the date published in the overall exam plan, you can contact the Study Administration, for an explanation. Deregistration for exams and registration for re-examination You are automatically signed up for your first attempt. If you wish to change your exam registrations for the ordinary Summer 2019 exam period, this can be done in the exam registration period, 4-11/ If you fail an exam or have to take a reexam for other reasons, you must actively register for the reexam. No students are automatically registered for the reexam. You can sign up for the reexaminations in the general re-examination registration period, 15-22/ at KUnet Self Service Enrolment, courses & exams Examination Register Please note that the re-examination registration period for the course Microeconomics (BA 2012 curriculum) and Academic Internship (MA) differs from the general registration period. For these two elements, you must register for the re-examination in the period 10/8-14/8. 1

14 Macroeconomics (Makroøkonomi 2012-BA Studieordning) 3-hour university assignment Written exam for the 3-hour university assignment at 13:00-16:00 (PBV) Publication of grades by no later than 16:00 Ordinary exam 26/6 15/7 NB! If Public Law is taken as an elective course the exam dates follows the exam dates for Public Law 2 NB! It is not possible for BA and KA students to join for a group exam together, as there are different requirements for the assignment length. 3 NB! Group Exam for exchange students due to the early deadlines for the exchange students, they can only be allowed, to write the exam paper together with other exchange students. 4 NB! For a resit or make-up exam changes may only be made to the re-submitted synopsis if this is justified by academic considerations, and only by agreement with the teacher. 17

25 Portfolio exam The portfolio exam is passed by submitting two compulsory assignments In Absalon during the course. If an assignment is not approved on the first attempt, it may be resubmitted once in revised form on the re-submission. The assessments should be registered by no later than 28 June at 12:00 noon for the spring semester. The make-up and resit exam is passed through a free assignment. The free Assignment must be submitted in the Digital Exam System. 23
26 Academic internship Master's & two-subject master's programme In order to participate in the exam the student must in two instances submit considerations regarding the project report, and also in two instances give feedback on a fellow student's considerations. The exam is passed with a project report whereby the students submit their own reports, and as an appendix also submit the feedback papers prepared for a fellow student. For SRM-students the work-place product should be submitted as part of the portfolio exam, together with the project report, to the Department of Political Science. A condition for passing the overall portfolio exam is that the project product is approved at the project site. SRM students should not hand in the compulsory submissions throughout the semester. SRM students should attach the project product when handing in the final assignment in the Digital Exam System. 2 NB! Political Science/Social Science students who completed their stay at the internship site before the Autumn semester 2018 should not hand in the compulsory submissions throughout the semester. Students who completed their stay on the internship site in Autumn 2018 or Spring 2019, must hand-in the feedback papers that they made throughout the semester together with their final assignment 24
