2 Problem Statement Emerging IP based VoIP and IPTV services are complex and delivering service directly to the customer/ subscriber handset, Set Top Box.. IP problems are very obvious transient audio problems or highly visible video problems Network based test equipment Is expensive and, with the move to 10Gbit and higher interconnect speeds, getting more so Can t see into the customer premise Need a cost effective and scalable solution that provides management to the customer premise 2
