18 Meters and End Customer Devices End Customer Devices are interfaced with a new networked element, a Gateway (GW) between Smart Metering Network and Home Area Network Meter to Gateway (M2G) I/F definition in progress Two of way operations: DC is the master over SM and GW, or, SM and GW can communicate independently from the DC Several different protocols can be used for the Gateway to End-Customer Device (G2E) interface. Initially, Meters and More offers a data model for the G2E interface
