1 IP Video Intercom System : Note of caution Caution : Leave installation work to the engineer dealer, Installer, SIer etc. Installation work requires technique and experiences. Failure to observe this may cause crush system data or damage to the product. Consult the dealer. 2 Preparation before install Panasonic provides "Panasonic IP config.exe" as a PC tool to confirm the IP address for each device, also "Setup files" to upload for each device. (It is configured with system configuration) Please download PanasonicIPConfig.exe and Setup files as follows. for Type A We will provide several "Setup files". Kindly download the one suitable for your system depending on the number of devices by referring to the number on the folder name (ex: DS_01 RM_05 ) showing maximum number of devices supported by the file. 5 Type A 1-1 Set up Devices ( Search setting ) SIP server PoE HUB Maintenance PC PC setting IP address : Subnet mask : (1) Before setting, confirm the MAC address with the Label on carton box one by one. (2) All devices and PC connect to PoE Hub. (3) In case of DHCP server is NOT configured the System, set IP address and Subnet mask on PC. (4) Execute the tool PanasonicIPconfig.exe on PC. (5) Click Check OFF Other Segment Search Check ON of Current Segment Search Click [OK]

6 Type A 1-2 Set up Devices ( Login web-console ) SIP server PoE HUB Maintenance PC (6) Click to start searching devices. (7) Confirm all Door Station and Room Monitor displayed on the tool PanasonicIPconfig.exe window. (8) After confirm the MAC address of the Door Station, click e. Then pop up web-console and login to the device. (7) Displayed Door or Room (6) Click to start searching devices (8) IP address and MAC address are displayed. Distinguish devices by MAC Address. By scrolling the bar toward right, the web-console switch will be appeared. 6

(10) Click Left side menu All Config Data and Tab All Config Data Click to upload the configuration Upload Setup File (11) Select Setup File to upload the configuration data for Door Stations as DataDL_DS**.zip DataDL_DS**..zip for Room Monitors as DataDL_RM**.zip DataDL_RM**..zip (10) (12) After uploading finished, devices reboot automatically and Network abort message will appear, then close the web window. Assigned IP address for the system (Refer page.30 IP Address assignment ). (13) Repeat (8) to (12) for all devices which are connected. 7

8 Type A Set up Devices ( Customize via Web ) After Upload Setup file have been finished, all devices have a valid connection. If you use "Setup files" for more device configuration than actual, customize it according to the actual system configuration. (Refer to Method-1 or Method-2 ) Method-1 Delete unused Door Stations via web-console. Before access to web-console, change IP address and Subnet mask on PC. Go to Room-Monitor web-console, Login PC setting IP address : Subnet mask : (1) (2) (3) (4) (1) Click left side menu Setting Project Setting and Tab Lobby/Door (2) Click modify of the Door Stations not used. (3) Check Enable Status ; Off (4) Click OK (5) Repeat (1) ~ (4) for all Door Stations which are not connected. 8

9 Type A Method Set up Devices ( Customize operating Room monitor ) Delete unused Door Stations on touch screen menu of Room Monitor. Example) The system is configured 2 Door Stations. These are Door-00 and Door-04. Delete Door-02, Door-03 and Door-04. (Disable the setting of Door Stations for adopting actual system.) (1) Select and touch the button on Room Monitor Setting Administrator Input password Password Confirm with sales company. 9

10 Type A Set up Devices ( Customize operating Room monitor ) (2) Touch the button on Room Monitor Lobby/Door (3) Check the Name of Door Stations and Enable Status through Door-00 to Door-01. (4) Check off the Enable Status mark of Door-02,Door-03 and Door-04 for disable. 10

12 Type A 2-1 Integration (IP Camera) If you need detail information, refer to the installation guide for IP Camera. To register the IP Cameras Make IP Address architecture plan in advance according to IP Address table IP Address assignment ( Refer page 30 ). Static IP Addresses are reserved for IP Cameras. Set up IP Cameras and the parameters shall be set one by one. Go to Room-Monitor web-console, (1) (2) (4) (1) Click left side menu Setting Project Setting and Tab IP Camera (2) Click modify of the IP Camera (3) Input the IP Camera information (4) Click OK (5) Repeat (1) ~ (4) for all IP Cameras which are connected. (3) Input the IP camera information, - Name: *voluntary (non-fixed) - IP Address : refer page.30 - User Name : monitor *reserved IP Address (fixed) *reserved name (fixed) - Password : Same as page.14 *voluntary (non-fixed) 12
