1 CLOSURES The FO closures are branching and connecting sleeves for external use. They contain splicing cassettes and other passive elements for the fibre management and protect their contents from external influences. Numerous configurations are possible. The closure is pre-prepared for all cable infeeds, equipped with sealing elements and can be equipped with one or two oval infeed for untrimmed tube loops as an option, as well as six or eight outputs for stub lines (inputs/outputs) and access cable. A valve for checking leak-tightness is integrated. There are suitable sealing sets available depending on cable type and installation. There are sufficient storage spaces for the untrimmed tube loops between the splicing cassettes. The type and number of splicing cassettes as well as the sealing set for the cable infeeds should be ordered separately as an extremely variable configuration is thus possible. Protection type IP68 acc. to IEC529 is of course fulfilled. Note: due to scores of possible combinations, please choose quantity of splice cassettes and sealings separately.
