1 HD- FIBER DISTRIBUTION TERMINAL ( HD-PROMEX- RA ) 768F HD- PROMEX- RA-768 is a High Density Fiber Distribution terminal cabinets enables telecom operators and service providers to maintain and manage the distribution of the connections in a disciplined manner for small and large scale FTTX Networks. These cabinets are specially designed for outdoor operations provided to bear extreme weather conditions. HD- PROMEX-RA Cabinets are equipped with HD- OSF (High Density Optical Splitter Frame ) and HD- ODF (High Density Optical Distribution Frame ). HD-ODF are used for point to multipoint (P2MP) that extend its utilisation for residential and commercial users which ranges from single dwelling to multi dwelling units. These cabinets are designed large scale FTTX networks. Features and Benefits: Accommodates up to 768 ports with 96 extra spare ports with double door. Rated for Indoor and outdoor use. 768 ports with double door, all front operation which enables full access during operations and maintenance. Excellent routing, storage, protection and management functions. Separate HD- ODF with splice trays for P2MP distribution (distinguished by 12 colored pigtails). Splitters and Pigtails are pre-terminated. Cabinet housing is made from SMC (fiber re-enforced) non- corrosive and light in weight and has life span of 20 years. Water and dust proof lockable cabinet (IP-65) All internal metallic parts are made of Galvanized steel, powder coated to gray RAL 7035 color.
2 Construction of FDT: 1. Cabinet is all front operation, with double door for 768 fiber connection capacity with a total of 24 Splitters ( 2:32 ). 2. There are total of 12 HD-OSF (Optical Splitter Frames). 3. Each HD-OSF can house 2 PLC Splitters ( 1:32 or 2: 32 ) with LC/APC connectors. 4. There are 6 HD- ODF s (Optical Distribution Frames) located at the bottom of the HD-OSF. Each HD-ODF has a capacity of 144 F with LC/APC connectors.
3 5. All the 128 SPLITTER OUTPUTS (from HD-OSF # 1 & 2) are terminated inside the HD- ODF ( HD-ODF # 1 ) and so on. 6. A total of 128 ( ) Splitter Outputs coming out from 2 HD-OSF (Say # 1 & 2) goes to the HD- ODF 144 Fiber ( Say HD-ODF # 1) 7. There are total 12 no s of HD-OSF, ( on each side ) each housing 2 Nos of 2:32 PLC. 8. There are total 6 no s of HD-ODF 144F,( 3+3 on each side ) with 16 spare Ports on each HD-ODF. 9. There is 2 FEEDER PANELS located below the HD-ODF # 3 & HD-ODF # 6 (Red Color ). 10. 4 12. There is a dummy Patch Panel ( grey color ) located below the Feeder Panel. 13. Bending radius is kept as long as possible everywhere in the cabinet to reduce the optical losses in Fiber Optic transmission. 14. Operations of Pigtails inside the HD-ODF are very easy as the Output Pigtails from ODF and Distribution Cable fibers are spliced inside Splice Trays ( # 1 to 6 ) with respective fibers from Distribution Cables. Each Splice tray has a splice capacity of 24 Fibers. 15.
