4 Easy to use Ready to run! Factory set parameters enable most applications to be run out of the box. Autotuning allows the Altivar 31 to quickly adapt to the motor and run at peak performance. User friendly setup allows you to easily make simple adjustments to fit your application and then monitor the drive and motor from the built-in keypad display. Places control close to your machine Control your machine locally with the Altivar 31 s potentiometer and start/stop buttons. Control your machine remotely from a terminal installed on an enclosure door. Use the terminal to program, store and transfer parameter files. Saves space Reduced size. Side by side mounting. Operation up to 50 C without derating. Integrated EMC level A filters (except for products rated at 230V, 3-phase and 600V, 3-phase). The Altivar 31 s open access facilitates automation system integration Communicates two ways Integrated RS485 multipoint communication over Modbus RTU or CANopen.
