17 Chapter Digital Output Modules Manual VIPA System 00V Parameterization Overview There are the following possibilities for parameterization: Parameterization by hardware configuration of Siemens SIMATIC manager or by WinPLC from VIPA Parameterization during run time by means of SCs Parameterization by hardware configuration To be compatible to the Siemens SIMATIC manager the following steps are to be accomplished: Start the hardware configurator from Siemens Create a new project Configure your CPU Insert the CPU -DP (ES -A0-0AB0 V) from the hardware catalog for the CPU x von VIPA The CPU may be found at Simatic 00 > CPU 00 > CPU - DP Link-up your System 00V modules in the plugged-in sequence starting with slot Here the digital output modules of VIPA are to be projected as digital output modules of Siemens in accordance with the following rules: VIPA -00 to be configured as ES -00-0AB0 The digital output modules can be found at the hardware catalog at Simatic 00 > SM-00 If needed parameterize the CPU respectively the modules The parameter window appears as soon as you double click on the according module At this window the according parameter can be changed Save your project, switch the CPU to STOP and transfer your project to the CPU As soon as the CPU is switched to RUN the parameters are transferred to the connected modules Parameters The following parameters can be adjusted at the digital output modules: Reaction at CPU-STOP Switch substitute value "" More description of the parameters may be found at the following pages - HB0E - SM - Rev 0/
