7 Section 1 Safety Information Required Actions WARNING When installing this product, be sure to follow the procedure explained in Section 3 Installation. Failure to do so could result in damage to the product, fire, or injury. ATTENTION Before using this product, be sure to read the instruction manuals for the equipment to which it is connected. Specialized knowledge of both equipment and related instrumentation is required to use this product. Before touching this product, be sure to touch a nearby metal area to discharge any static electricity. Failure to do so could cause this product to be damaged by static electricity that has built up in your body. Use a delayed circuit protector. Failure to do so could result in the product becoming damaged by the inrush electrical current when the power supply is turned on. The level of inrush current is several times greater than normal input current. (The level of inrush current will differ depending upon the timing when the power supply is turned on, and the impedance of the supply source.) When performing a mega test (insulation test) on signal transmission cables, be sure to remove the cables from the driver (transducer) and signal conditioner.
