4 Standard control elements. Supply their own bus coupler. Why two article numbers, two orders, two spaces in the warehouse and two boxes at the building site when it could be much simpler? The new KNX standard control elements are finally being supplied as a single package with the matching bus coupler. This makes the work much easier for distributors and installers. But this is not the only change: two LEDs on every switch rocker give an improved overview. Operation made easy. The new solo control elements are available as 1fold, 2fold or 4fold models. Every switch rocker has two LEDs, which display the status of the connected loads. The separate switch rockers are freely programmable and are suitable for switching and dimming, and also for operating blinds and as a light scene extension unit. They can also be used in commercial applications. Anti-theft protection has also been integrated an important factor for installations in public areas. 5 Customised text. Pictograms can be applied to push buttons for easier orientation. A clear text template with standard symbols is included for every sensor. The self-explanatory pictograms are available for the complete range of building control technology and if necessary can be easily replaced. 6 Multifunction control elements. Comfort optimised. LED-colour concept integrated. The new multifunction control elements meet all requirements for convenience and technology. All control elements come with two RGB LEDs per switch rocker, which conform to a consistent colour concept. The function is obvious at first glance. If the overview is still not enough, pictograms can also be applied to the controls. Each side of a switch rocker can have a separate function such as switching on a light scene. This converts a 4fold control element into a 8fold control element. Colour-coding for easier operation. Innovative LED technology offers completely new options and maximum ease of operation. The new RGB LEDs are also in the consistent colour concept that has already been so successful with Busch-pri- On and Busch-ComfortTouch. Yellow is for lighting, blue for the blind control unit, magenta for light scenes and orange for the temperature control unit. Users become accustomed to the colours and their functions very quickly, making operation child's play even without labels on the buttons. KNX control elements are available in the carat, pure stainless steel, solo, Busch-axcent and future linear programmes. The complete range of conventional switches from these series is available, so there are no limits to the options for combining KNX components. 8 Push-button coupling unit. The efficient solution for all Busch-Jaeger switch ranges*. The new push-button coupling unit with a centre position offers maximum fl exibility. Installed in a fl ush-mounted wall box, it accepts switch rockers from conventional switch ranges* like a completely standard flush-mounted insert. Covers from all conventional ranges can now be used for KNX. This offers maximum freedom in the selection of the switch range and makes retrofitting easier. From conventional to KNX. The push-button coupling unit forms the bridge between conventional technology and KNX. It fits in any flush-mounted wall box and the top accepts the switch rocker like a conventional switch insert. The original alpha KNX control elements are being replaced by innovative control elements of the new generation. If you wish to continue using the alpha design, e.g. for expansion of existing installations, this can be done without difficulty by using the push-button coupling unit in combination with conventional covers from this range. 9 Design without limits. The push-button coupling unit includes the complete range* of switches for KNX. Switch rockers from all switch ranges can now be converted to KNX push buttons, which not only switch on and off but also dim or show the status with an LED (6108/01 and 6108/04 only). 1fold and 2fold models for single and 2gang switch rockers are available. KNX water protected The pushbutton coupling unit also allows special products to be used for KNX. Special models for water-protected installation allow covers from, for example, the ocean surface-mounted range to be used. This means that KNX sensors can also be safely installed in a cellar, outside on a patio or in commercial applications. 10 TP Bus Coupler. Room temperature controller, comercial. Total simplification. Quality is more important than quantity. Why keep developing more and more products in parallel if their function can be intelligently combined in one device? The new generation of bus couplers is the best example of this process of simplifi cation. Where formerly decisions were made on the basis of the sensor range, now one coupler is available for everything. The same principle is also applied to the room temperature controllers. Where formerly two fl ush-mounted components were required, now the new controller alone is suffi cient. 6120/ U / One bus coupler for KNX sensors and Busch-priOn. The new bus coupler that can do everything is another step towards total operating simplicity whether it's KNX control elements or Busch-priOn. It is the right choice almost everywhere that a separate bus coupler is required and already integrated into many sensors. The only exception: BuschpriOn 2gang and 3gang support frame combinations require the power bus coupler. Note: This function is only available in combination with the corresponding control element. 11 Room temperature control with only one device. The times when a bus coupler and a controller were required to control the room temperature in commercial applications are a thing of the past: The new room temperature controller for commercial property offers all required functions in one single flush-mounted device. The bus coupler is integrated. The new controller measures the room temperature and directly controls the actuators for heating and cooling anywhere that local operation is not wanted. 12 Busch-Watchdog Presence KNX. Fan-Coil Room Temperature Controller. For greater comfort and reduced energy use. Unnecessary items are simply switched off: presence detectors register whether a person is in the room and allow loads to continue operating only if they are really necessary. They can be used for more than simply switching the lights on and off: even more energy can be saved by switching heating and air-conditioning operating modes with presence detectors. The new Fan Coil controller does both: one device can maintain the room temperature in the comfort range regardless of whether the room has to be heated or cooled. Earlier Today Stop wasting energy. Presence detectors register the slightest motion and switch on automatically in the presence of persons and off again if the room is empty. This saves energy and also improves comfort. The bus couplers are already integrated into the device and need not be ordered separately. But not only has the hardware been improved: the watchdogs also offer additional functions. The standard device now has two switching channels. The Comfort presence detector is also suitable for switching heating, air-conditioning and lighting modes and now offers logic functions and a constant light control via two channels. It can also be switched with an IR remote control for example, if it is necessary to switch off the light temporarily for a presentation by projector. The Fan Coil room temperature controller with display is a room temperature controller for ventilator convectors or conventional systems for heating and cooling. This option offers complete air-conditioning for rooms. The temperature can be adjusted precisely for personal comfort. The fan speeds can be selected by push buttons. Even very large rooms can be heated or cooled to a comfortable temperature quickly with additional air-conditioning units. The KNX Fan Coil room temperature controller can be operated individually. 14 Busch-triton. The new generation. Progress means continuing development, being aware of trends before they become popular and being just ahead of the state of the art in technology. Busch-triton was a revolution in sensor technology when it was originally introduced to the market. The program leaves everything else in the dust, not just visually. The range of functions is also unique and has contributed to its continuing popularity. We have adapted the program for current tastes the result is a new product range and an integrated bus coupler (monoblock). All included With freely programmable switch rockers, backlit label fields and IR sensor Busch-triton is ideal for any application and with its elegant design it is commonly installed in hotels and public areas. Now the multifunctional design has been taken to its logical conclusion and Busch-triton has now been fitted with a bus coupler and an IR receiver. The unit composed of control element and integrated bus coupler now really has everything required to control building systems elegantly and comfortably. 16 Busch-priOn. Excitingly different. Busch-priOn controls and monitors all separate functions in the entire room. Light, scenes, time functions, blind and heating control all the functions in a room can be started, stopped and controlled by one single rotary control element and freely programmable switch rockers. The efficient TFT display with its selfexplanatory symbols offers intuitive operation and a complete overview. A new, one-line display and a motion detector are new additions to the system and offer additional applications: multifunctional, customised and still very easy to operate. Modular design Frame-free variety. Busch-priOn is marked by individuality not only in the programming of the various buttons: it would be virtually impossible to make the setup of combinations more flexible. Busch-priOn is not confined to a frame up to three individual components are fixed to a support frame with end strips top and bottom. A selection of four colours is available for the control elements: studio white, glass white, glass black and stainless steel. The end strips are also available in the same colours*.
