6 In 2014 we raised funds via community contributions, generous sponsors and T-Shirt sales SHOESTRING BUDGET Of the $11k raised in 2014 $8700 went to expenses and the rest was paid out through a profit-share holiday bonus honorarium to track leads and speakers. 6

9 WE MADE A PROMO This year, we re crowdfunding a full year documentary of the organization of BSidesMSP

10 WE GOT GREAT MEDIA COVERAGE TV interviews on WCCO and KSTP, articles in CSO online, and Twin Cities Business Magazine 10

11 WE MADE FRIENDS Security B-Sides MSP held a Hacker Showcase including Offense and Defense, and CryptoParty education 11

12 The reception by the community in 2014 was great and they said their biggest draws were: Free, Community Organized, Hands-On, Practical, Active Sponsors, and Respecting Privacy WE VE SEEN WHAT IS POSSIBLE We re doubling in size and impact in 2015 We re bringing Technology and Security to the North 12
