4 INTRODUCTION Al-Ahleia a member of Sayed Hamid Behbehani & Sons Group, established in 1982 is a leader in Design, Engineering, Manufacture, Delivery to Site, Testing and Commissioning of On-shore and Off-shore Packaged Type Sub-Stations. Al-Ahleia is a manufacturer of Packaged Type Sub-Stations and an EPC Contractor for projects consisting of the same. Al-Ahleia offers to its clients complete turnkey solutions for their specific tailor made requirements of Packaged Type Sub-Stations. Al-Ahleia is capable to manufacture as many Packaged Type Sub-Stations as required to meet the requirements of the projects within the project s schedule. Al-Ahleia supplied 20 Nos. Packaged Type Sub-Stations to Kuwait National Petroleum Co., Kuwait. Al-Ahleia is the first Company in Kuwait who manufactured and supplied Packaged Type Sub-Stations with Blast Resilient Design. Al-Ahleia s Quality Assurance Programme conforms to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO / TS 29001:2010. Al-Ahleia s computer network has more than 500 Computers linking with 50 Computerized Numerical Control Machines (CNC). Al-Ahleia has CNC / CAD-CAM Machines facilities for heavy fabrication, Plating and Paint Plants for high quality products. Al-Ahleia has enough capacity to execute as many Packaged Type Sub-Stations as required to meet the projects requirements within the project s schedule. 7 EXPERIENCE Packaged Type Sub-Stations for Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) Al-Ahleia s land mark in Kuwait Refineries are their Packaged Type Sub-Stations where they carry out design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and pre-commissioning. Al-Ahleia completed 20 Nos. Packaged Type Sub-Stations for New Oil Pier Project, M56A Project, Enhancement of Local Marketing Supply and Distribution Facilities Project, Berth No. 5 & 6 (M87 & M88) for Expansion of New Oil Pier Project and New Ethane Recovery Plant Project (M85 & M86 Blast Resilient Design), Vacuum Re-run Revamp Project (B-122/2), New Gas Port Project (M2, SP-11 and SP-12) and Fuel Oil Pipeline Project (M71B, RM-34 and RM-35). 9 MANUFACTURING CNC machines, Robotic welding machines, Powder coating plants, Electro-Plating plants, Automatic shot blasting, CNC structuring steel cutting saws, CNC beam drilling, CNC coping and CNC plate processing machines are employed in the manufacturing process for precise fabrication work. MANUFACTURING Packaged Type Sub-Stations Have the Following Typical Features: Modular type pre-fabricated Sub-Station enclosures of metallic construction, fully pressurized and environmently controlled to suit site ambient conditions with standard specifications: Steel structured construction with external galvanized and pointed cladding envelope. Smooth internal finish, easily maintainable walls and ceiling. Floor plates 8mm - 10mm thick with suitable openings for cable entry. Internally partitioned to form separate section as per project s requirements. Thermally insulated envelope exceeding normally applied standards using Rock wool upto 100mm thick. Rugged strong steel doors single/double with high performance seals, break resistant hinges, fire or blast rated as per requirements. Removable lifting lugs at suitable location. Polyurethane Paint finish on galvanized cladding for maximum corrosive protection. Base frame plates for attachment to foundations or under structure. Roof platform with ladders for access to HVAC and ventilation systems. Fire and blast resilient rated as per requirement. Air conditioning and ventilation system with total redundancy as per requirement. Fire detection, alarm and automatic fire extinguishing system with 100% reserve as per requirement. 13 TRANSPORTATION Maximum size of Sub-Station that can be Transported as a single piece on hydraulic trailer is 30 M x 7.5 M. Al-Ahleia has its own hydraulic trailers to transport the Packaged Type Substations to site. Transportation Hydraulic Trailer 13

Al-Ahleia understands that Safety Standards at Oil Installations are substantially higher due to the volatility of the petrochemical environment.
