3 What EUBrazilCC aims at? Foster EUBrazil internadonal cooperadon in distributed compudng infrastructure at three levels: Heterogeneous (especially cloud) infrastructure federadon. IntegraDon of Frameworks to efficiently Access infrastructure resources. User s applicadons, creadng shared spaces for the benefit of internadonal collaboradons. 5 What have we done? Three Prototype Use Cases Leishmaniasis Virtual Laboratory IntegraDon of four data collecdons on Leishmania (CLIOC, COLFLEB, ISCIII WHOCCL and specieslink for ecological informadon) and Molecular Processing Pipelines. First prototype of molecular analysis to study the populadon structure of the Phlebotomus Perniciosus. (hlp://lvl.i3m.upv.es/). CardioVascular System SimulaDon IntegraDon of ADAN (Arterial system) and Alya Red (Heart) simulators, combining HPC and HTC compudng models. First prototype that couples Alya with ADAN to execute low definidon problems on local resources (MareNostrum). Prototype of a connector that allows the synchronizadon of Alya and ADAN simulators on separate HPC facilides. Biodiversity and Climate Change Integrated data analysis concerning evapotranspiradon and vegetadon indices (SEBAL), climate indicators on historical data and future scenarios (CMIP5 data) and forestry biomass (inspecdon & postprocessing LiDAR products). An integrated plamorm Data analysis framework used for climate data in the Infrastructure for the European Network for Earth System Modelling Finegrain workflow engine with cloud, and social network features, with special support to OMICS Widely used plamorm- agnosdc distributed compudng infrastructure, already included in EGI Federated Cloud ecosystem Rapid Prototyping Tool for Sci. Gateways in the SINAPAD Network of HPC centres PDAS escience Central COMPSs / PMES mc 2 Deployment and cloud broker service in the ecosystem of EGI Federated Cloud Infrastr. 7 What have we done? One Federated Infrastructure EUBrazilCC gathers compudng resources from 6 centres 5 out of 6 providers already federated with fogbow. Development of fogbow, an onpremise lightweight federadon system Around 1000 cores from ONE & OStack IaaS SupporDng OCCI, VOMS, and EGI appdb. EUBrazilCC VOMS membership credendals for authendcadon. fogbow being considered by RNP for their research cloud. SERPRO has started tesdng fogbow. AdaptaDon of CSGRID for more flexible access to cluster endpoints and richer resource and job metadata Other requirements on the way (support to fogbow).
