2 Annex A Dedicated Telecommunications Transmission Service ( Service ) The Service is the provision of dedicated telecommunications transmission for a commercial customer s exclusive use in providing telecommunications facility that supports data transmission included but not limited to voice, fax, video or any combination of them with point-to-point connections between Hong Kong and designated overseas destination(s) specified under the service provisioning. The Service is protocol transparent and support all commonly used protocols such as Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), Point-to-point Protocol (PPP) and Internet Protocol (IP). The Service includes but not limited to International Private Lease Circuit ( IPLC ) and International Ethernet Private Line (also known as Dedicated Ethernet Service DES ) ( IEPL ).
