Maximum load capacity per 3' or 4' section (between the standard uprites with base brackets) is 12,000 in/lbs. Maximum load capacity per 5' section is 6,000 in/lbs. To determine the maximum section load that equates to 12,000 in-lbs, simply add the load of all the shelves together and reference the chart below. For example, if you have six 16 shelves, each loaded to 250 lbs, the total section load is 1500 lbs. Based on the chart below, this would be the maximum allowable load. Maximum evenly distributed load capacity on shelves less than 36 wide is reduced by 50%. 2 STEP 1: Set up standard wall or gondola section. Only install the peg or marteck panels on the back side. If 2 backs are required a half splicer rail must be used in place of a standard splicer rail. Do not install a top rail. Install a temporary center rail 12" from the top of the uprite. STEP 2: Place the Bottom Rail Support at the midpoint of the Bottom Rail. Adjust leveling leg until the support contacts the Bottom Rail. 3 HARDBOARD SYSTEM STEP 3: Install the Versa bottom support (VBS_) into the bottom 2 uprite lances. The top tab on the VBS_ goes into the narrow lance on the uprite while the lower tab goes into the lower uprite lance. Orient as shown, tilt slightly to get the support between the uprites, lower one end and then the other end into place. 3

4 L W SLOTWALL SYSTEM STEP 3: Install the left & right hand Versa spanner for slotwall bottom brackets (VBSS_) into the bottom pair of lances of the uprite. Make sure the brackets are positioned in the side of the uprite lance closest to the installed back panel as shown. Tap lightly with a mallet if required to seat in place. 5 STEP 4: Slide the Versa spanner bracket into the top pair on lances of the uprite. Make sure the bracket is positioned in the side of the uprite lance closest to the installed back panel as shown. Tap lightly with a mallet if required to seat in place. Using illustration on page 6 install remaining spanner brackets. 7 STEP 6: Install the Versa Spanner (VS_) by hanging both ends over the previously installed left & right hand Spanner Brackets. VERSA SPANNER SPANNER PROPERLY POSITIONED AND SEATED IN PLACE 7

8 STEP 6: STEP 7: Secure the spanner to the spanner bracket using (2) 1/4-20 X 1/2" machine screws and lock washers. Remove the temporary center rail at this time. Install the remainder of the spanner brackets and spanners as detailed in steps 3 through 5. 9 STEP 8: Install the Versa Uprite (or uprites) in the desired position. Make sure the hooks on the VU_ properly bottom out in the slots of the VS_. The bottom of the uprite will be captured in the in the pocket of the VBS_. VERSA UPRITE 9

10 STEP 9: Install the back panels at this time. Use a Versa half splicer rail (VHS_) if upper and lower backs are required. UPPER BACK PANEL VERSA HALF SPLICER (VHS_) LOWER BACK PANEL 10

11 NOTE: This page is for installation in a Wall or Gondola run, See Page 12 for installation with extension uprites, See Page 13 for installation where uprites are taller than the intermediate uprites. STEP 10: Orient the Versa Top Rail (VTR_) as shown and place over the top of uprites. Secure in place using 5/16-18" carriage bolts, 5/16" lock washers and 5/16" hex nuts. Bolts must be securely tightened to eliminate any movement of the channel. Secure in place using 5/16-18 hex head bolt bolts, 5/16" lock washers and 5/16" hex nuts. Bolts must be securely tightened to eliminate any movement of the channel. 12

13 STEP 12: Orient the VTR_ as shown and place over the top of uprites. Secure in place using 5/16-18" carriage bolts, 5/16" lock washers and 5/16" hex nuts.
