4 About This Document This document provides technical guidance for implementing the Spend Management v7.11 Framework. It has detailed steps necessary to configure your framework for use in a specific environment. Intended Audience This document assumes that you have the following skills: Database administrator skills and can: Create databases and users in the DBMS, used for the deployment. Run database scripts in the DBMS, used for the deployment PegaRULES Process Commander administrator skills and can: Find and update rule forms Use the Process Commander System Management Application Guide Organization This guide has these chapters. 5 Chapter 1: New Implementation of the Spend Management Framework Spend Management v7.11 includes the following software layers: PegaASMLS - ruleset to identify, manage, and control the set of rule instances that define PegaASMLS application. PegaLSCR - ruleset to identify, manage, and control the set of rule instances that manipulate data in Covered Recipient Database. The following tables list the prerequisites to implement the framework. 8 Chapter 2: Personalizing the Spend Management Framework This chapter describes personalization procedures that you need when preparing your application on top of the Spend Management Framework. Configuring Spend Classes The SetSpendClass Map Value stores the work classes and the report flow name. To modify the SetSpendClass Map Value: 1. From the Rules Explorer, select Decision > Map Value. A list of instances are displayed. 2. Select SetSpendClass in the PegaLS-AggregateSpend-Work-Engagement class and save it in your application ruleset. 3. Open the newly created SetSpendClass and modify it as required, using the information in the table below. 5
