Indiana (INSWH) Effective date: 1/1/2017 Tables are effective for two years starting January 1 of odd-numbered years. ( ) State withholding is based on the income amount at the rate of 3.23 % for 2017 North Dakota (NDSWH) Effective date: 1/1/2017 Bracket amounts have changed, but the annual allowance remains the same at $4,050. Supplemental wages remain the same at 1.84% (.0184) Improvements Ajera Cloud only: Resetting a password will now take less time. The Resource base has two new columns: End Date and Start Date. Corrections The following issues have been corrected in this release: Widget designer Defect /761696: On a widget, the Is One Of filter was not working when commas or single quotes were present. Defect : On the Receipt base, filtering the bank name on the Deposit Bank Name was not working. Defect : On the Marketing Phase base, group collapsing columns would result in an error. Defect : On the Phase base, filtering a billing group the phase amounts were not aggregating correctly. Other corrections Defect : Multi-company only: In Vendor Invoices, the company name was not pre-filling when the company was assigned in Setup > Vendors. 12 Version : Improvements Version : Improvements January 25, 2017 Introducing Ajera API Ajera's Application Programming Interface (API) is now available. The API allows Ajera clients to develop external applications that can view, create, update or delete information for the following Ajera records using calls to the API: Projects Clients Contacts Vendors Employees Visit the Learning Center to find out more about the API. Revenue Recognition Revenue Recognition is now available as a Manage menu task ( > Manage > Revenue Recognition). The Revenue Recognition Manage menu task has a set of predefined columns that allow you to create, review, edit, and commit estimated revenue just as you would on the Revenue task widget. If you use formulas to calculate revenue, you have a new option to auto calculate uncommitted revenue when creating a revenue batch. This also updates the uncommitted revenue on the Project list. Visit the Learning Center to learn more about the Revenue Recognition Manage task. Corrections The following issues have been corrected in this release: Defect : E-Filing only: When e-filing, Ajera now sends the following information: W-2s: The recipient address 1099s: The Vendor Address and the Vendor Name, when the vendor is set up with DBA Recipient name on the 1099 Info tab. Defect : Iowa e-filing only: The Iowa Business efile Number field is now required for e-filing. Defect : On the Tab Access widget, trying to filter the Role Rights and Employee Rights columns would result in an error. Defect : Vendor check stubs were displaying the invoice date instead of the accounting date. 13 Version : State tax changes Version : State tax changes January 18, 2017 State tax changes Maine (MESWH) Missouri (MOSWH) Oklahoma (OKSWH) Oregon (ORSWH) Rhode Island (RISWH) Vermont (VTSWH) Effective date: 1/1/ Maine personal exemption amount ($4,050) is the same as the federal exemption amount. The Maine basic standard deduction amounts are different: $11,600 for single; $23,200 for married individuals filing joint returns. Maine standard deduction amounts are phased out for single taxpayers with Maine income over $70,000 and married taxpayers filing joint returns with Maine income over $140,000. Effective date: 1/1/2017 Standard Deductions for 2017 have changed. Effective date: 1/1/2017 Brackets and amounts have changed. Effective date: 1/1/2017 Wage brackets and the exemption allowance have been changed. The standard deduction amounts for 2017 are $2,175 for those filing as single and $4,350 for those filing as married. Effective date: 1/1/2017 Allowance value is $1,000 Annually, phased out for annual salary over $217,350. Withholding brackets updated. Note: Since 2011 the brackets are the same for any filing status (ie. S, M). Effective date: 1/1/2017 Brackets changed. Withholding allowance remains the same $4,050. Improvement Defect : On the W-2 form, a SSA Copy and 3UP were not printing line 4 for box 14. 14 Version : State and Federal tax changes Version : State and Federal tax changes December 28, 2016 Ajera e-filing You can now use Ajera e-filing to file your firm's 2016 W-2 and Form 1099 MISC forms electronically. U.S federal changes Social security wage base is 127,200 in Note: Social security and medicare rates are unchanged from 2016 and remain the same in Ajera for U.S. federal changes Federal Withholding (FWH) Effective date: 1/1/2017 Brackets have been adjusted. State tax changes California (CASWH) Kentucky (KYSWH) Minnesota (MNSWH) New Mexico (NMSWH) New York (NYSWH) North Carolina (NCSWH) Effective date: 1/1/2017 The low income table changed, standard deduction table changed, exemption allowance changed, bracket values changed for each filing status. Annual standard deduction increases to $4,129 from $4,044. Effective date: 1/1/2017 The standard deduction increased from $2,460 to $2,480. Effective date: 1/1/2017 Allowance value remains at $4,050 for Brackets have changed for Effective date: 1/1/2017 New withholding brackets for Effective date: 1/1/2017 The annual allowance has been changed to $3,060. 15 Version : State and Federal tax changes Additional tax changes Forms 1099, W-2, and 940 have been updated for State of Ohio only: On the W-2, the letters SD are now required to be entered along with the school district number when reporting school district wages. This is entered in Company > Payroll > Taxes, edit the local tax, and enter the description in the W-2 box description field. Enhancements The W-2 box description has been increased to fit 11 characters. Printed forms will only print the first 7 characters, including spaces. E-filing will allow for 11 characters. Corrections The following issues have been corrected in this release: Widget Designer Defect : In the Widget Designer, previously unchartable decimal columns are now chartable. Defect : On the Expense Report base, the Supervisor key was using the Employee Key description instead of the Supervisor key. Defect : Certain widget formulas using case statements may have caused a widget group to not expand. Defect : A chart widget may not have populated data from the parent widget. Other improvements Defect : If using Ajera CRM, the Integration Log was reporting a timeout error syncing projects even though the projects were synced. Defect : On the W-2 forms, if the Employer's state ID was more than 12 digits, the states were truncated rather than the font shrinking to fit the entire state ID. 16 Version : Improvements Version : Improvements November 23, 2016 State tax changes Nebraska (NESWH) Effective date: 1/1/2017 The annual allowance increased to $1,960 from $1,900 Amounts in the tables have changed Enhancements New Revenue Recognition users have the option to enter beginning balance revenue amounts in the Project Command Center > Beginning Balance tab. Ajera now supports Microsoft Windows Server If using the CRM integration, you now have the option to map unsynced Ajera projects to existing CRM projects when selecting the Syncronize to CRM menu option. The following pre-built widget has been added to the widget Gallery: CRM Syncing Details: Use this gallery item to view the projects, employee, contacts, and clients syncing with CRM and the corresponding CRM ID. 17 Version : Improvements Defect : On the Alert base, having the Last Error and Last Error Date columns present and encountering a long error message would result in an error on the widget. Defect : When editing a timesheet, you may have encountered the error Data table must be set prior to using DataView. Defect : If using CAP WIP adjustments, billed amounts entered in Project Command Center > Beginning Balances tab may have resulted in an incorrect CAP WIP adjustment amount. 13 Deltek Ajera Deltek Inc. 18 Version : Improvements Version : Improvements October 26, 2016 Enhancements Ajera Cloud Only: The default password expiration for Ajera Cloud users has been set to 120 days. There is now clearer messaging when an incorrect password is entered. The Journal Entry Detail base has three new columns: Description, Entry Notes, and Reference. The following pre-built widget has been added to the widget Gallery: Journal Entry (display all existing): Use this gallery item to view an existing list of journal entries for a specific account. Ajera now supports SQL Server Corrections The following issues have been corrected in this release: Defect : If using Credit Card Import, the Import button on processed and paid expense reports is now disabled and the Credit Card Import row can no longer be added. Defect : Multi-company only: You may have encountered an error when copying a vendor invoice and adding a company name. Defect : On the Timesheet base, you may have encountered an error when trying to save a formula. Defect : On the Client Invoice base, you may have encountered an error when using the Between and Equal filter on the Client Invoice Accounting Date. 19 Version : Improvements Version : Improvements September 29, 2016 State tax changes Idaho (IDSWH) Effective date: 1/1/2016 The annual withholding allowance increased to $4,050 from $4,000. Employers are not required to retroactively adjust withholding for the months before the withholding tables were released. South Carolina (SCSWH) Effective date: 1/1/2017 The annual allowance has increased to $2,370. The Maximum Standard Deduction has increased to $2860 and the tables and rates have been updated. Enhancements If using Ajera CRM and syncing a project, if the project description in Ajera is 40 characters or less it will sync to the project short name in Ajera CRM. If the project description is greater than 40 characters it will sync to the project long name. Corrections The following issues have been corrected in this release: Widget Designer Defect : On the GL Account base, you were unable to filter the GL Balance column by a reporting entity. Defect : If using Ajera CRM, the Integration Log widget now sorts entries descending by time. Defect : On the Expense Report base, you may have encountered an error when trying to save formulas. Other improvements Defect : In Vendor Invoices, copying an invoice created a blank row as a result of distributions which had units but were for activities that were not unit based. Defect : When an employee had an accrual pay over the set limit and a supplemental pay was necessary, you could not enter the supplemental pay without encountering an error. Defect : Supervisors were able to approve their own timesheets. Now only the selected supervisor in Setup > Employees can approve a timesheet. 15 Deltek Ajera Deltek Inc. All rights reserved.

20 Version : Improvements Version : Improvements August 24, 2016 Enhancements New Payroll Service Accrual videos are available in the Learning Center. The Purchase Order base has a new column: Amount Paid. The Payroll Service Accruals reporting widget has a new column: Pay Type. Corrections The following issues have been corrected in this release: Widget Designer Defect : You may have encountered an error when trying to open the Widget Designer. Defect : On the Phase base, the BD Contact and Text columns were displaying incorrect data. Defect : On widgets, the filters Is One Of and Is Not One Of were not reporting any information when parenthesis were present in the name of a column. Defect : On widgets, you may have been unable to expand collapsed groups if the column name contained an apostrophe. Defect : The Payroll Service Accruals reporting widget will now display the following pay types: sick pay, vacation pay, other pay, and accrual. Financial Statement Designer Defect : When opening the Financial Statement Designer you may have encountered the error Input string was not in the correct format. Defect : In the Financial Statement Designer (FSD), when reporting entities or department names contained a comma, they would show up as different entries in the FSD. Other corrections Defect : In the Project Command Center, creating a subphase or moving a phase below another phase and saving would result in a SQL error. Upon saving, one of the phases would not be attached to the project and the project would not open. If you have encountered this error, please contact Ajera Customer Care. Defect : If using Credit Card Import, deleted credit card import settings were still available for selection in Bank Account setup. Defect : Multi-company only: In Vendor Invoices, copying a vendor invoice may have resulted in an invoice with no transactions. The invoice appeared on the Vendor Invoice Register without an invoiced amount. If you encountered this situation, please contact support. 16 Deltek Ajera Deltek Inc. All rights reserved.

22 Version : Improvements Version : Improvements July 27, 2016 Government Reporting The 2016 W-4 form is now available ( > Reports > Government Reporting > Form W4). Enhancements There are two new password expiration options: 180 days and Never Expire. These options are only available for on-premise users. When using Credit Card Import, you will now receive a warning when you save the bank register with items using the credit card import default account. If using Revenue Recognition, you can now use Revenue Start Date and Revenue End Date when creating revenue formulas. Performance improvements have been made to the Client Invoice Aging report. You now have the option to not automatically calculate Cap WIP Adjustments or percentage based > Setup > Company > Prefer- adjustments if you aren't using them. To turn the options on, click ences > Project tab. If using Purchase Orders, in Manage > Vendor Invoices when selecting the Purchase Order Detail you can now add the Received column as an optional column in the Purchase Order Detail List. If using Purchase Orders, in Manage > Vendor Invoices you can now select multiple purchase order details for a vendor invoice using the Import button. A new widget base called Alert Details is available to track Alert successes and failures. The Project and Phase bases have the following new columns: Receipts Credit Memo Consultant Receipts Credit Memo Expense Receipts Credit Memo Labor Receipts Credit Memo The following pre-built widgets have been added to the widget Gallery: Alert: This includes the Alert and Alert Detail bases. Use these widgets to view the status of active alerts. This includes description, state, employee name, and run dates. These widgets are designed for troubleshooting alert errors. Payroll Service Accruals: View employee accrual information when running outsourced payroll, including Accrued, Used, and Available Balance. On the Multi-company Reconciliation report, Defect : After running payroll the effective cost intercompany entry was reflecting incorrectly on the report. Defect : The intercompany credit card entry was being reported incorrectly. Defect : When copying a vendor invoice that was using only the GL account in the vendor setup, and the GL account is allocated on the vendor invoice, the following error was returned: "You cannot copy this invoice because it contains inactive information: Project, Phase, Activity, Account, Department." Defect :In Client Invoices, you may have encountered the error Column Argument cannot be null when final printing invoices with deferred transactions with write-off cap WIP as the contract method. Defect : In Import Time, if the import file was greater than 100 characters the file could not be imported. Defect : In Mobile Timesheets, users had the option to enter time to an adjustment phase. This option has been removed. Defect : On the Revenue Detail widget, some columns were not rolling up to the Project Total level for each Activity type. Defect : When creating a new journal entry, the Do not allow date will now refresh before saving. Defect :Journal Entries were not recognizing the Allow entries prior to do not allow date check box when deleting rows of an existing journal entry. Defect : If using Ajera CRM, after the second sync some employees were getting duplicated if syncing more than 100 employees at a time. 19 Deltek Ajera Deltek Inc. All rights reserved.

24 Version : Improvements Defect : Active phases with a billing group that is on work hold are now available in mobile time. Defect : If using effective cost in the billing rate tables and a salaried employee's overtime is not included in salary, overtime hours are now marked as "Can bill" in Client Invoices. Defect : If using Ajera CRM, you may have encountered the error CRM sync failed: unable to initialize if your CRM password entered in Company > Preferences > on the Integration tab contained a semicolon. 20 Deltek Ajera Deltek Inc. 27 Version : Introducing Credit Card Import, enhanced Designer features, and Payroll service Version : Introducing Credit Card Import, enhanced Designer features, and Payroll service accruals June 22, 2016 Introducing Credit Card Import With Ajera 8.10 you will be able to import your credit card expenses, making it easier for your team to get their expenses entered and get back to billable work. Find out more about this exiting feature, including new setup and workflow videos by visiting the Learning Center. Introducing Favorites and Tab improvements Ajera 8.10 will allow you to designate your favorite tasks and reports on your Ajera menu so you can navigate to them quickly. Find out more in the Learning Center. When designing your dashboards, your Tabs can be grouped to provide better organization and reduce clutter. Find out more in the Learning Center. Introducing the widget Gallery The widget Gallery is a collection of widgets built with the end user in mind. The Gallery provides an easy starting point when creating a new widget to add to your dashboard. To find out more about the widget Gallery, visit the Learning Center. Payroll service accruals (outsourced payroll) If you use a payroll service, you now have the option to set up and track employee s vacation, sick, and other accruals. Visit the Learning Center for more information. Password policy changes With this release we will be improving the way we handle user security starting with more industry standard password protection. All Ajera users will be prompted to change their password the first time they log into 8.10 if their current password doesn t meet the new requirements. The password will be required to be reset after a period of time. The reset time is defaulted to every 90 days and can be reset to 30 or 60 days if you have Ajera installed on premise. To see all of the password requirements, visit the Learning Center. Note: If you currently have Active Directory setup the password policy change will not apply to you. Enhancements When you save a new purchase order, the cursor will now move to the next editable cell. On the Purchase Order report, More vendor information has been added to the report. 28 Version : Introducing Credit Card Import, enhanced Designer features, and Payroll service The Purchase Order Detail base has a new column called Received. The Purchase Order base has new columns called Shipping Method and Required Date. The Employee base has a new column called Has Credit Card. On the Purchase Order and Purchase Order Detail widgets, the Notes field now pops out for easy editing. The Payroll Service session journal now includes the start and end dates. On the dashboard, widgets that load faster than slower widgets will display while the slower widgets continue to load. The Ajera login pages and mobile help site have been rebranded. In Schedule Manager, on the Employee tab: Department and Employee Status were added as optional columns. Employee was added as a filter. The Notification base has been renamed to "Alert." Correction The following issues have been corrected in this release: Ajera CRM Defect : The Dates and Cost tab fields were not syncing if the project already existed in Ajera CRM and Ajera. Defect : On the Integration Log "Added xxx of Contact records" was being repeated even though no records were added. Defect : If projects, clients, and contacts with the same name exist between Ajera CRM and Ajera, new records will not be created. You will now correctly get the message that the record cannot be created because it already exists in Ajera. Defect : After upgrading to you may have been unable to sync projects and the integration log noted a failed API call. Widget Designer Defect : In the Designer, you now have the option in the date picker to have the End Date be the same as the Start Date. Defect : In the Designer, editing the layout on a tab with no widgets and trying to save would cause Ajera to hang. Defect : On the Employee base, the Is Salaried column was not getting updated correctly when there was a change to the Employee wage table. Defect : Deleting the last tab on a page caused an error. Defect : In the Designer, when creating two SELECT type formulas a date range and adding a third formula, the third formula will use the date range from the first two formulas. Defect : In the Designer, when a user had rights to design widgets for other users, in certain situations, the user would see tabs not assigned to them and would not see tabs they were assigned to. 24 Deltek Ajera Deltek Inc. Defect : If using Outsource Payroll, the New Pay window had overlapping fields preventing users from saving. Defect : In Manage > Journal Entries, improvements have been made when loading the Journal Entry list. Defect : On the Aging widget, the date range option did not match the Client Invoice Aging report.
