Instruction included the following topics: user experience design, design criticism, grid systems, typography for the web, and technical trouble-shooting. Philadelphia Art Institute, Philadelphia P.A Visual Communications, Computer Technology As a Graphic Designer the associates degree I received was in the technical and creative arts of graphic communications through creative problem solving, promoting brands, market ideas, and influencing consumer behavior. The courses were in fonts, colors, and designs on packages, labels, video games, and other mediums. Mostly I learned how to apply the critical thinking process and initiate creative solutions to graphic design challenges. Tiger Printing Graphic Designer / Lead Graphic Designer I am responsible for all design, artwork, pre-press, pre-flight and production for a 6-color Hiedelberg press and a 4-color Komori press. I prepare files for film and all epson and blueline proofs. I manage the entire creative process, providing clients with ideas from concept to completion. I am also responsible for all screen printing artwork, design, and production. South County Journal Newspaper I was responsible for designing and producing print advertising, communication materials, and point of sale items in a fast-paced environment. I utilized my strong art direction, consistent method, and trouble shooting experience to create electronic files from concept to completion under tight deadlines.
