1 One Time or Recurring Financial Gifts You can give a one-time or recurring (weekly, monthly, etc.) gift to the church via the WCC Member Portal using your checking account Bank Routing and Account Numbers. We do not accept credit card or debit card payments at this time largely due to the relatively higher fees associated with accepting credit card payments. Giving money electronically helps in many ways: It is easier & more secure to process electronic check payments rather than paper checks. It is easier to follow through on your intention to give regularly to the church even if you are away for one or more Sundays, forget your offering, etc. A recurring gift made throughout the year makes the church s cash flow more even and allows the church to pay its bills - even during the relatively slow summer months. How to Make a One-Time or Recurring Financial Gift to WCC If you already know how to login to the WCC Member Web Portal, Sign in now and skip to Step 6 of these instructions. 1. Go to the Winnetka Covenant Church ( WCC ) web site at

After clicking, you should see this WCC Member Portal Login Screen. 3. If you already have been given your User Name and Password, enter it now. a. In the first space, enter your Address or User Name. Your User Name is generally your first name and last name put together in one word with no space. For example, Joe Jones would have a User Name of JoeJones b. In the second space, enter your Password. 4. If you have not already been given your User Name and Password, see the words at the bottom of the screen Need a login? Click here - and then click there! You will be directed to get your initial password. If you have trouble or want to bypass this step, contact Roger Schmitt at rschmitt@arielinvestments.com and he will send you your User Name and initial Password via .

3 5. Once you have logged in, you should see a screen similar to the following: 6. Click on the Give Now button in the My Giving Summary section.

4 7. After clicking, see a screen similar to the one below. 8. In the first box, type the amount you want to give. If it is a One-Time gift, enter the date you want to transfer money from your checking account to WCC. Then, click the Continue button and skip 9b-c.

5 b. If you click Recurring, you will see the following screen.: c. Now, click to tell the system about the recurring gift you want to make: i. Is the gift to be taken from your checking account Weekly, Every 2 Weeks, Monthly, etc? ii. On what day of the week should the gift be taken? iii. On what date should the recurring gift begin? iv. On what date should the recurring gift end? v. Then, click the Continue button 10. Now, see a screen similar to the one below. The system wants to know into what fund or funds you want your money to go within the church. The church s biggest need is the General Fund but select the fund where you want your money to go.

6 11. In the example below, I indicated I wanted my $100 gift to be split in the following way: $80 to go to the General Fund and $20 to the Organ Fund.

7 12. Now, click the Continue button as shown above and then see the following screen 13. The system asks you to tell it from what checking account to pull your gift from. a. If you have already entered your checking account information, just select the correct checking account to pull this gift from and click the Continue button b. If you have NOT already entered your checking account information OR want to enter information about a different checking account, click the link called Add New Payment Method

8 14. Review your gift information on the following screen. If all is as you want it, click the Process Gift button and the obtain your receipt. ALL FINISHED!
