2 LOGIN & EXPLORE LOGIN & EXPLORE THE PARTICIPANT CENTRE The Participant Centre gives you access to different and valuable tools: you can manage your fundraising page, your address book, your incentives, your donation history, as well as your offline pledges. 1. Login to the system with your username and password. 2. Click on the buttons from the menu bar to explore the different pages available. At any time you can access the "Online Support Centre" by clicking on Help from the menu bar. 2

3 PERSONALIZE YOUR PAGES PERSONALIZE YOUR PERSONAL PAGE Personalizing your page is easy with these two simple steps. Our results show that if you take the time to make your content more personal, you will more easily achieve your goal! 1. From the Participant Centre, click on Personal Page from the menu bar. Before editing your page, make sure that your photos and videos are ready to be published. Photos Upload Photos must be less than 2MB. Reducing the size of your files can be done on your computer or camera s photo editor, or using an online service like TinyJPG. Videos Upload Videos must first be uploaded to YouTube. 3

4 ... PERSONALIZE YOUR PAGES 2. Click on Edit Text or Edit Images/Videos icons to edit the various parts on your page. The text editor works just like the word processing software on your computer just click on Update when you re finished. PERSONALIZE YOUR TEAM PAGE Team Captains will also have access to their team page, which can be edited as well. You can follow the same steps as for the personal page. 1. From the Participant Centre, click on Team Page in the menu bar. 4

5 RECORD OFFLINE DONATIONS RECORD OFFLINE DONATIONS (CASH & CHEQUES) Our walk website system includes a feature which helps you keep track of the offline donations that you have received. Advantages to entering your offline pledges online include: Earning top individual or top team bragging rights; Pledges are reflected immediately in your personal and team fundraising totals; Donor automatically receives an electronic tax receipt, if he provided his credit card details or if you chose to pay this offline pledge using your personal credit card; Faster processing of offline pledges post-walk. Don't forget! Even if you recorded your offline donations in your profile, you still need to bring a copy of your paper pledge forms completed, along with your cash/cheque donations, on walk day. 1. From the Participant Centre, click on Offline Pledges from the menu bar. 5

6 ... RECORD OFFLINE DONATIONS 2. From the "Add/Edit Donors" section, complete donor contact information, donation amount, payment type and select an honour roll option. 3. Click on Add Donor. The offline gift has now been added to your personal and team fundraising totals as "Pledged". Full donor address information is required for tax receipting purposes according to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. Good to know... Please ensure that the gifts recorded online are equal to the amount collected on your pledge form and the actual cash and cheques that you will turn in on walk day. Electronic tax receipts for cash and cheques donation will be sent post-walk once the funds have been verified. 6

7 RECORD AND PAY FOR OFFLINE DONATIONS 1. Follow instructions given for recording offline donations. After recording a donation, it will appear in a table under the "Add/Edit Donor" section. 2. From this table, select the donations you want to pay by checking the appropriate box(es) in the "Select" column. 3. Click Pay By Credit Card. 4. Review you donor list, complete payment information and click Process Payment Now. These offline gifts have now been added to your personal and team fundraising totals as Confirmed. An e-tax receipt will be sent immediately to your donor. 7

This online support centre provides detailed procedures that will help you to manage your online account and your fundraising activities. FROM US!
