Once you ve logged in, select the drop down menu from your name in the top right corner. Click My info. This will bring you to a page listing your current contact information. Click EDIT at the top of the page. On the contact information form, you ll see a box labeled Password on the right hand side of the page. Enter your new password twice, then click Update Info at the bottom of the page. WESTWARD 3
Updating Your Contact Information To update your information, select the drop down menu from your name in the top right corner. Click My info. This will bring you to a page listing the contact information currently on file for your account. Click EDIT at the top of the page. On the contact information form, fill in the information that you would like to provide. You also have the option to share your information with other homeowners in your association. If you d like to appear in your association s directory, check Share my contact information with other residents at the bottom of the page. If you d prefer to keep your information private, you may leave this box unchecked. When you re finished, click Update Info at the bottom of the page. WESTWARD 4
Making Payments To make a payment, select the Payments tab from the main menu. Here, you ll be able to view upcoming scheduled payments, your transaction history, and the current balance on your account. To schedule a new payment, select Make Payment from the main menu. Enter the amount you d like to pay, the date you d like the payment to be made, and how frequently you d like the transaction to occur. Type your first and last name as they appear on your bank account. Then, enter your account details. When you re done, click Review. If you re setting up automatic payments, please note that the first auto debit cannot be made until the day after it is set up. If you need the first payment to occur today, you can make a one-time payment for the current month and set up recurring charges beginning next month. On the next page, you ll be asked to review the details of the transaction. Once you ve confirmed that they are correct, click Send Payment. You ll be given a receipt for the transaction, which you can save for your records. Remember that if you set up an automatic payment for your monthly association fees and these fees change in the future, the amount being charged to your bank account will not automatically change. You ll need to log back in and change the amount. WESTWARD 5
Sending and Receiving Messages From time to time, Westward may send you messages with information regarding new services. You can also submit service requests online and receive updates directly from our Operations Department. To access these features, select Messages from the main menu. You ll be able to see all open conversations. To view closed conversations, click Show Closed Conversations at the bottom of the page. To submit a service request, click Contact Us on the right side of the page. You ll be taken to a web form to fill out with information regarding your issue. If you d like to include photos or other files, click Add Attachments and select the files from your computer. When you re done, click Save Message. Your request has been sent and someone will get back to you within 24 business hours. If you have multiple issues you d like to contact us about, make sure to fill out a separate request for each issue. WESTWARD 6
Community Discussion Board The Homeowner Portal allows members of your community to post and discuss a wide range of topics. Though Westward representatives occasionally update the message board with information for homeowners, we do not regularly monitor the discussions, so if you d like to report a problem or request maintenance, you ll need to contact Member Services via the Messages tab on the Homeowner Portal or by phone or . To access the community discussion board, select Community from the main menu. Here, you ll see a list of the most recent topics being discussed. There s also an option to subscribe or unsubscribe to s notifying you when a new topic is posted to the board. If you don t see the topic you re looking for, you can also start a new discussion. To do this, click Post to board on the main menu. Type in a subject line and message, then click Save Message. To join any discussion, simply select the topic you d like to reply to and click Reply. Type in your message and click Save Reply. WESTWARD 7
Accessing Documents The Homeowner Portal stores several types of useful documents that are always available to download straight to your computer. To access this feature, select Documents from the top menu. Here, you ll see a list of documents such as meeting minutes, move in/move out procedures, and Declarations & Bylaws for your association. Once you ve found the document you d like to view, use your cursor to hover over it. Click on the Download button that appears. The document should download automatically to your computer. WESTWARD 8
Contacts and Directories For your convenience, Westward continually updates a directory with contact information for members of your association and local businesses. To view the directory, select Contacts from the top menu. You ll see three different lists: All, Directory, and Important Numbers. All is a list of every number listed alphabetically by name. The Directory is a list of all owners in the association who have agreed to share their contact information. Numbers is a list of local businesses. This list can be sorted by name or category.
