4 Overview In this guide we will cover the general HPBX Training to go over the website, portal, soft client, and phone training. Version Page 4 of 18
5 Going over the Logix.Com website 1. Go to the Logix webite In the top right you will find Customer Resources. 3. On this page you will see the MyPhone Portal Link. 4. Also at the bottom is the Logix Hosted PBX Guides and videos. Version Page 5 of 18
6 Going over the MyPhone Portal 5. Go back to the top and click on myphone portal link. You can also go to 6. You will log in with your phone number and password for a user login. The admin you will log in with the Admin address and password. If you don t have this you can contact customer care to obtain the passwords or reset them. Version Page 6 of 18
7 7. After you log in you will see the following screen. This section is the call log and you can view your call from the last 90 days or 1000 calls. 8. Next click on messages on the left side. You will now see this screen. This is where you can view your voic , save them, forward them, remove them. 9. Now have them click on profile on the left side. Here you can change your E911, password, or recovery address. 10. Recommend you change your password here. 11. This now concludes all the tabs for Account. We have went over Call Log, Messages, and Profile. Version Page 7 of 18
8 12. We will now select Settings on the top of the screen and be on this screen. 13. We start off by opening the Anonymous Call Rejection using the arrow on the right side. 14. This is where you can turn it on or off. Also select the More Information in the bottom right of the section and it will show you how to turn it off and on by the phone. Version Page 8 of 18
9 15. Lastly go down to the voic section. 16. In this section you can setup voic to . There is two ways we can do this. The first is in the unified messaging. If you put an address here it will go to the phone and to the . The second way is to put the address in the forward to this section. If we put it in this section then it will only go to . This is good as if you check it in you don t have to go back to the phone and clear the voic off the phone. Version Page 9 of 18
10 17. Now we will go over to the support tab on the top. 18. Have click the MyPhone Portal Guide This guide goes over every feature and area of this website. If you have any questions on a feature or what it does to refer to this document and it will walk you through any part of the portal. 19. If you select the drop down in the top right the end user can only see their phone and make changes to only their phone. Version Page 10 of 18
11 Going over the Admin Portal 1. Now Log out of the portal using logout in the top right. 2. You will now log in with your admin login that is an address and password. If you don t have this please contact customer care. 3. After you log in you will be on the manage location tab. This is where you can manage multiple locations if you have more than one. If you only have one it will be the only location. Version Page 11 of 18
12 4. Now if you click in the top right drop down you can see everyone in the company. Whoever you choose that will be the phone that you change. When on the account or settings tab this will be the user you are looking at or making changes too. Version Page 12 of 18
13 5. The last tab in the Admin portal is the Group tab. This is the tab where you can make any changes to the global PBX. 6. We start of on this tab by doing down to Manage Lines. Open this section and edit a line. This is where you can change the first or last name of the user. There is also where you set the outbound caller ID number that people see when they place outbound calls. Version Page 13 of 18
14 7. Open the next section which is manage users. Have open the admin which should be at the top and be your address. Change your password to something from the default. 8. Next open a phone number user. This is where you can change the password or set an recovery for the user. You can also make this user an admin just like you. If you don t want to make them an admin but still need them to manage a few users you can select the extensions they need to manage and move them over to the right side. Then when that user logs in they will see those extensions in the drop down in the top right. Version Page 14 of 18
15 Going over the Soft Client 1. If you have soft client licenses then you can download the soft client and log into them with portal usernames and passwords. We have 4 versions of the soft client: a. Windows & MAC This can be downloaded from our website: b. ios This can be downloaded in the App store by searching for Logix Communicator. c. Android This can be downloaded in the Play Store by searching for Logix Communicator. 2. Once you have downloaded the client you can log in with the portal user name and password. This will be their phone number and password they setup on the portal. Version Page 15 of 18

17 3. Once you log in you will be on the contact screen. There is where you will see people that you have added to the soft client. 4. You will then have tabs on the side or top/bottom. This will vary on the soft client platform that are using but all the same. a. Contacts- This is where you will see people you have added. b. Dial Pad This is where you can dial a number. c. Chat This is where your chats will be with anyone. d. Directory This is where the company directory is located. Version Page 17 of 18
