1 WHITELISTING GUIDELINES Having trouble receiving my newsletter? Or does it tend to end up in your "Junk" folder? Then please follow the instructions below to make sure that you never miss out in the future! Not only will this ensure that everything ends up in the correct folder, it'll also allow for the automatic downloading of images and links so you never have to worry about it again. If my newsletter is in your Inbox, follow the instructions below. If it is not in your Inbox, try looking for it in your "Junk " or "Spam" folders and follow the same directions: 1. Right click on my 2. Go to the Junk heading on the list 3. Click to Add Sender s Domain to safe senders list If my newsletter is in your inbox, to make sure it always gets delivered to your inbox, you must add the newsletter 'from' address to your contacts list: 1. Click the drop down arrow next to "Reply" in the upper right side of your inbox screen. 2. Click to Add to contacts list in the list that appears. You will now see that I appear under the link "Contacts" on the left side of the page. If my newsletter is not in your inbox trying checking your Junk or Spam folders: 1. First check your Junk folder. 2. If you see my newsletter, tick the tick box on the left of the message title and click Remove Label Junk Mail in the toolbar above the mail. 3. Next check your Spam folder (it might only be visible if you click the More drop down menu in the left column of the screen) 4. If you see my newsletter, tick the tick box on the left of the message title and click Not Spam in the toolbar above the mail. 5. Then follow the previous instructions to "Add to contacts" If your images are not automatically displayed: 1. Simply click Always display images in the header. If my newsletter has arrived in your Hotmail Live, Windows Live or MSN inbox, to make sure it will always get delivered to your inbox, you must mark my as safe:
2 1. Open my newsletter 2. Click "Show content" in the header to view images 3. Then click the Mark as Safe button in the mail header Alternatively you can manually add me to your Safe List : 1. Click "Options" in the upper right corner of your Hotmail screen 2. Then click More options at the bottom of the list 3. In the Body of the page under the header "Junk " click the link "Safe and blocked senders" 4. Click the link "Safe senders" 5. Enter the address the newsletter is delivered from 6. Click "Add to list" If my newsletter is not in your inbox try checking your Junk folder, if do you find my newsletter in your "Junk" folder: 1. Either right click on my newsletter and select Not Junk OR select my newsletter and click Not Junk in the toolbar above the mail 2. Then follow the above instructions to add me to your "Safe senders" If my newsletter has arrived in your Yahoo! inbox, to make sure it will always get delivered to your inbox, you must add my to your Contact List: 1. Right click on my newsletter in your inbox and click Add to Contacts. 2. A pop up form will appear and click save. If my newsletter is not in your inbox trying checking your Spam or Trash folders: 1. First check your Trash folder 2. If you see the from me, select it and click Move in the toolbar above the message, then click Move to Inbox. 3. Next check your Spam folder 4. If you see my newsletter, either select it and click "Not Spam" in the toolbar above the message OR right click on my newsletter and select Not Spam 5. Then follow the previous instructions to add me to your contact list If my newsletter has arrived in your AOL inbox, to make sure will always get delivered to your inbox, you must add my to your Contact List: 1. Right click on my newsletter in your inbox and click Add to Contacts. 2. A pop up form will appear 3. Fill in the form (the only field which is required in AOL is the nickname under New Contact ) and click save. If my newsletter is not in your inbox trying checking your Spam or Junk folders:
3 1. First check your Junk folder 2. If you see my newsletter, select it and click Action" in the toolbar above the message, then click Move to Inbox. 3. Next check your Spam folder 4. If you see my newsletter, either select it and click "Not Spam" in the toolbar above the message OR right click on my mail and select Not Spam 5. Then follow the previous instructions to "Add to contacts" In order to ensure deliverability to your Thunderbird Inbox you will have to add me to your address book: 1. Click the Address Book button 2. Make sure the Personal Address Book is highlighted 3. Click the New Card button. This will launch a New Card window that has 3 tabs: Contact, Address and Other 4. Under the Contact tab, copy and paste the newsletter 'From' address into the dialogue box 5. Click OK 1. Scroll up to the message header 2. Get to the field where their name is listed, click the Berry button and then click Show Address 3. Select and copy the send address to the clipboard 4. Go into Address Book and find the user 5. Select Save 6. Click to edit it, and then click the Berry button to add another address 7. Paste it in and click Save To add me to your "Safe Senders" start up Norton AntiSpam then: 1. Click the Status & Settings tab 2. Click AntiSpam 3. Click Configure 4. Click Allowed List tab 5. Click Add button 6. In the ' Address' box, enter the from address of the newsletter 7. Click OK 8. Click OK
4 1. Open the message from the sender you want to add to your address book. 2. Click on the "Save Address" link (below) next to the "From Address". 3. Check the "Add to Contacts" box (below) and click "Save". 1. Click on the "Save Address" link at the top of this message (it's next to From Address). 2. For the field titled First Name, please enter my name 3. Then click Save Entry and you're all done. 1. Select Friends from the McAfee SpamKiller sidebar. 2. Click Add a friend. 3. Make sure all users at a domain is selected under Friend type: 4. Type the domain name of the from address under Address: 5. Optionally, enter my name to help you recognize the domain under Name: 7. Click OK. Whitelist Quarantined Senders: 1. Open your client. Barracuda should send you a summary each day listing quarantined items. Choose the most recent Barracuda message. 2. Locate the newsletter from me and the sender address that you do not want quarantined in the future. Click on the word "Whitelist," which is in green print to the right of the title. This will open your list in a web browser. 3. Click the box to the left of the that you would like to whitelist. At the top of the page, click "Whitelist." Barracuda will not block or quarantine the sender whose address appears on the whitelist. 1. Click the Addresses tab. 2. Click New. 3. Type the from address of the newsletter 4. Make sure 'Accept Mail From This Address' is selected under Receiving Options. 5. Uncheck 'Display in People Picker' under Other options. 6. Click Submit.
5 7. Click OK. CLOUDMARK SPAMNET Select Cloudmark Options... from the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar in Outlook: 1. Click Advanced. 2. Go to the Whitelist tab. 3. Click the Add button. 4. Enter the from address 7. Click Yes. 8. Click OK MAILSHIELD 1. Click Friends from the toolbar. 2. Click Add. 3. Type the from address 4. Click OK. MAILWASHER 1. Click Tools, then Blacklist & Friends. 2. Click Add... on the right, the Friends list side. 3. Make sure Plain address is selected. 4. Type the send address ODDPOST 1. Check your 'Probably Spam' folder. 2. If you see that Sample was incorrectly filtered out 3. Select it Click the 'Move to Inbox and Mark as Not Spam' button. SPAM SLEUTH 1. Select File, then Configure. 2. Go to the Friends category. 3. Make sure Active is checked. 4. Type the send address on a line by itself in the entry field. SPAM INSPECTOR 1. Select Spam Inspector 2. Then 'Manage Friends List' from either the Spam Inspector toolbar or from the Outlook menu. 3. Make sure is selected under 'Add a New Friend'. 4. Type the sender address 5. Click the >> button. 6. Click Close.
