1 Plugin Parameters The time when the plug-in is available can be selected here. Usually the default values shown above will suffice. Additional control is available when configuring individual slots. 2 Normal Delivery Days Select the normal delivery days when slots are available. Extra Delivery Days You can enter additional dates (in YYYY-MM-DD format) when delivery slots will be available (e.g. for a flower shop this might be Mother's Day). Additional charges may apply on these occasions. The separate Brainforge Manual Shipping Plugin might be helpful. Blocked Delivery Days These are days when there are no deliveries (e.g. Christmas Day).Blocked delivery days take preference over normal and extra delivery days. brainforge.co.uk Page 2 of 6 (c) 2017 Jonathan Brain

3 Advanced Features In some cases other characteristics (e.g. shipping method / price) of the order can change when a delivery slot is changed. Enabling the Refresh shipping parameter will refresh the checkout page when a different delivery slot is selected. The plug-in can be activated / deactivated according to the categories of products contained in the order. The 'Exclude categories' feature takes priority over 'Include categories'. If neither specified (as in the example shown) then delivery slots will be available for all orders. Related Plug-ins by Brainforge Hikashop Brainforge Manual Shipping Plugin. 5 Field Specification Field type This is a bespoke field type included with the plugin and must be used. It is similar to the Single Dropdown included with Hikashop. If you wish to use an alternative, such as a Radio Group, please contact to discuss. Values cc ww bb:bb aa:aa anytext Title Except for the Please select.. option (if used) where the value is empty (null) the entered values must follow the following format: cc:ww@bb:bb@aa:aa@anytext The maximum number of deliveries on this slot (set to 0 for unlimited). An can be sent to site administrator if this value is reached (see plug-in parameters). A binary coded field to define slots which are only available on specific weekdays. If omitted or set to 0 then the slot is available on every delivery day. The values are: 1=Sun, 2=Mon, 3=SunMon, 4Tue 32=Fri, 64=Sat, 67=SunMonSat Adding 128 will hide that slot when it is not available, normally unavailable slots are shown but cannot be selected. E.G. 129=Sun only, slot hidden on all other days. 195=SunMonSat only, slot hidden on all other days. 128=All days but hidden on blocked delivery days. The latest time that this slot can be ordered. The earliest time that this slot can be ordered. The plugin earliest / latest order times take preference. If aa:aa after bb:bb then aa:aa applies to orders for the following day. Free text which can be helpful when directly viewing database order records. Enter descriptive text appropriate for each slot. The %s field (if any) will be replaced with the date to which that slot applies. This can be important when a slot applies to the following day as in the example below. The date format can be specified in the plug-in configuration. 6 Template Overrides This plugin does not require any template view overrides. In some cases you may wish to change the Hikashop templates. When no delivery slot is appropriate the Delivery Slot field header may still appear, but there will be no data associated with it. Removing it all together in these circumstances may be less confusing for customers. Checkout Example (without delivery date plug-in) Unavailable delivery slots are disabled.this example shows the mid-evening delivery slot options using the above data. The following day lunch slots can be ordered but not the following day dinner slots. Checkout Example (with delivery date plug-in) The Delivery Date plug-in must be executed before the Delivery Slot plug-in, use the ordering feature in the Joomla Plugin list. Using the same data as above its too late for any slots on the current date.
