3 3. Utilizing Your Invitation To Claim Your GIAC Digital Badge After you have earned your GIAC certification, you will be contacted via to claim your digital badge. Utilize the Accept your badge button or the hyperlink to initiate your badge claim. To facilitate timely delivery of all notices pertaining to this program, please whitelist the addresses and Acclaim's
4 4. You will be automatically redirected to Acclaim s site. Next, create a password to finalize the Acclaim account creation process. Confirm you personal information transferred over correctly or complete as needed Create a password Click the blue Create Account button Alternatively, if you have an active Acclaim account, use the I have an account link to login
5 5. After submitting the information to create your Acclaim account, you will need to confirm your account. * You will receive an from admin@youracclaim.com *remember to check your spam folder Utilize the Confirm My button or the hyperlink to confirm your account
6 6. After confirming and logging into Acclaim, your Dashboard is displayed. Click on your new badge Then Accept Badge
7 7. A Badge Settings pop-up will appear allowing you to customize your settings. *These settings can be changed at anytime in your account*
8 8. Your badge now displays a Share option Allowing you to share your digital badge across multiple platforms. Such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Xing, , URL, etc.
9 9. Claiming Your Digital Badges From Your SANS Account as an alternative to utilizing the invitation Login to your SANS account at and navigate to your Account Dashboard. Select Certification History under the My GIAC Certification heading.
10 10. The Certification History page shows details for all your certifications. Locate the certification that corresponds to the badge you wish to claim and select the Claim Digital Badge button. Selecting the link will redirect you to Acclaim s website.
11 11. On Acclaim s site, your badge is displayed with an option to Accept Badge Upon redirection to Acclaim s site, you may be prompted to sign in or you may be logged in automatically. (This depends on whether your browser is set to save your credentials for webpages)
12 12. After accepting your badge, a Badge Settings pop-up will appear allowing you to customize your settings. *These settings can be changed at anytime in your account*
13 13. Your badge now displays a Share option Allowing you to share your digital badge across multiple platforms. Such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Xing, , URL, etc.
14 14. Accessing Your Digital Badges From Your SANS Account Login to your SANS account at and navigate to your Account Dashboard. Select Certification History under the My GIAC Certification.
15 15. The Certification History page will provide details for all your certifications. Every valid certification will have a link to its corresponding digital badge. Selecting the link will redirect you to Acclaim s website.
