1 Registering / Logging In to the POTA Statistics System Registering for an account in the POTA system is a fairly straight-forward process, but we wanted to create this basic guide to cover some potential questions, because we are giving you a number of different ways to log in to our system. Anyone who logs into the new POTA system will fall into one of 4 categories: 1) (New Users) - Brand new users 2) (Early Adopters) - Users who set up an account with their call area manager before the login system was created 3) (New Login Type) - Users who have logged in previously, but are logging in with a different method than they have in the past (i.e. in the past they logged in by verifying their identity through Facebook, but this time they are logging in with Google or creating a POTA account) 4) (Returning Users) - Normal Login These directions will use the colors indicated above to indicate which steps to follow for the different user scenarios. Step 1. Go to stats.parksontheair.com. From this screen, click Login/Logout in the Navigation Menu

2 Step 2: Click Sign In / Register in the drop down menu Step 3. You will be presented with the login page. You can choose to log in with Google, Amazon, Facebook, or with your own POTA account

3 If you choose to use one of the social platforms, you will either be redirected to the login page for your chosen platform, OR if you are already logged in on that platform, you will be automatically taken to the next step in the process. (Returning users) will be directed back to the dashboard, and their login is complete Go to Step 7. (New Users) can skip to Step 4. (Early Adopters) and (New Login Type) while it is not required, you should attempt to choose a login platform that has the same address associated with it as you previously provided to POTA. After choosing your login provider, proceed to Step 4. If you choose to login with/create a POTA account: (Returning Users) can simply enter their registered address and password, and choose sign in, and they will then be directed back to the dashboard, and their login is complete Got to Step 7. (New Users) (Early Adopters) and (New Login Type) will need to choose Sign up underneath the Sign-in button located at the bottom of the right side of the login screen. (New Users) can enter the address they would like to use, choose a password, and follow any additional prompts. Proceed to step 4. (Early Adopters) and (New Login Type) can enter any address they would like to create their account with, however it is recommended that you choose the same address that you have previously provided to POTA. After choosing an address and password for your account, proceed to step 4.

4 Step 4. (New Users) (Early Adopters) & (New Login Type) will need to provide additional information in order to set up their information in the POTA statistics system. Some of this information will be pre-populated based on your chosen login method simply complete any missing information and click Submit Information. (New Users) will be directed to step 6. (Early Adopters) and (New Login Type) The POTA statistics system will attempt to automatically connect your new login method to your existing POTA data. Proceed to step 5. Step 5. (Early Adopters) and (New Login Type) If the system is able to make an automatic connection to your existing data, you will see the following screen. Click Return to Dashboard, choose login again, and you will be automatically connected to the system. Your login is complete proceed to step 7. If the system was not able to make an automatic connection, the system will send a notification to the admin team to review your new login method request. You will see the screen below, and a member of the admin team will review your request, contact you if needed, and then notify you when they have approved your request. After receiving notification that your account is set up, you can procced to the dashboard and login as a returning users. After receiving this notification start at Step 1 and follow the directions for a returning user.

5 Step 6. (New Users) You will be notified that your account has been created. You will need to return to the dashboard, and reclick login as directed, at which time you will be automatically connected. Your login is complete proceed to step 7. Step 7. Upon successful registration and/or login you will see additional items in the menu bar. These additional items are to display your personal information from the stats system. Over time the team will be expanding the types of things you can see and do once logged in, so if you have any requests for the types of data you would like to see, please do not hesitate to send your ideas to the program team.

6 As a final note, if you choose to do so, you can Sign-Out from the navigation menu. The next time you return to the site you will need to sign-in again. If you simply close your browser without logging out, you will remain signed on in the background (the length of time depends on the terms of the vendor you logged in with i.e. Facebook, Google, and Amazon.) If you do not actually log out, the next time you return, when you click login you will be automatically connected to your data.
