1 STEP 1 Go to the CNR Virtual HelpDesk at Then select Student Network Accounts Read the Acceptable Use Policy and then click Agree STEP 2 Please make note of your username as you will need it to access your account. Follow the instructions carefully to select a password that meets the requirements and for security purposes do not write it down. Refer to the screen shot above for password guidelines.

2 Enter the following url into your browser: Enter your CNR username and password or click on the Forgot your password or username link at the top of the page. This link will redirect you to the Virtual Helpdesk. WELCOME TO MY CNR WEB ACCESS Before you begin, please take a moment and review your name, address and phone listing for accuracy. If your information is not correct click on the Registrar link that is located at the bottom of this page or visit the Registrar webpage for procedures on demographic corrections/changes. How do I know if I am cleared to register on line? If you are cleared to register, there will be an on your screen. If this button is not visible, check the message area in the upper right section of the welcome page. This section will be used to display the clearances that are required and any holds that may be blocking your registration. Please be aware that you must make an appointment to meet with your advisor and obtain an electronic advisor clearance prior to registering online. In addition, you must be cleared by the Bursar and Health Services prior to registration. Please note that you may click on the following buttons even if you are not cleared to register: How to register on-line:

3 To register, change sections or delete courses click the button. Please note that back buttons and refresh features have been disabled and will result in logout. Step 1: Select a course/section from the course list you are presented with. After selecting the first course, you must complete the registration for that term. Please note the list of courses is based on your major/degree requirements and includes open courses that are available in the term you are cleared to register. The list will not include closed courses, courses that require prerequisites or courses that require additional advisor approval other than advisor clearance. If at any point (before you update) you would like to back out of your current registration session, click on the button located above the course list. Step 2: After you select your first course/section, use the dropdown to select another course from the list. If you are presented with a time conflict, you must either change the course section of one of the courses that are conflicting or you can click the Clear button next to the course to remove that course. Please note you have to resolve time conflicts before you can proceed to add the next course.

4 Step 3: After you have completed selecting courses, click on the button located above the course list. You will then be presented with a registration confirmation screen which will reflect the proposed registration. If you wish to add the registration, click. If you do not want to add the registration, click. When you click on this option the registration information will be cleared and you will need to start over. Step 4: After you click on the registration confirmation screen will appear which you will have a choice to print the confirmation or save it to your computer. How do I change a section once I have completed my registration? Step 1: Click the registered courses. button. You will then be presented with the most current term of Step 2: Click Change Section button on the line of the course you wish to change and select a section. You may proceed to change another section or Update. Please note: You will not see a Change Section button if there are no alternate sections and a section that is closed will not appear on the drop down list.

5 STEP 3: After you have completed section change click on the Update button located below the course list. You will then be presented with a registration confirmation screen which will reflect the proposed registration change. If you wish to add the change click Accept Changes. If you do not want to add the change click Do Not Accept. When you click on this option the registration information will be cleared and you will need to start over. If at any point (before you update) you would like to back out of your current registration session, click on the Reset button located above the course list. Step 4: After you click on Accept Changes, the registration confirmation screen will appear which you will have a choice to print the confirmation or save it to your computer. How do I drop a course after I have completed my registration? Step 1:

6 Click the On-Line Registration tab. You will then be presented with the most current term of registered courses. Step 2: Click Drop button on the line of the course you wish to drop. The box will now reflect a checkmark and the line will be highlighted in red. You may proceed to drop another course or Update. STEP 3 After you have checked drop for your course, click on the Update button located below the course list. You will then be presented with a registration confirmation screen which will reflect the proposed drop. If you wish to process the drop click Accept Changes. If you do not want to process the drop click Do Not Accept. When you click on this option the registration information will be cleared and you will need to start over. If at any point (before you update) you would like to back out of your current registration session, click on the Reset button located above the course list. Step 4: After you click on Accept Changes,the registration confirmation screen will appear which you will have a choice to print the confirmation or save it to your computer. How do I view or print my schedule? Once you have completed your registration transaction, you may click on the My Record tab at the top of the screen to view your courses. Click on the button to view and print your schedule. Please note: classroom locations are subject to change. You are advised to verify classroom locations using your My CNR Web Access at the start of the semester. How can I access the list of courses that are being offered? To view a list of courses offered in a term, click on the Course Listings tab at the top of the screen. Use the drop down boxes to select the school and semester (term). Continue to use the other drop down selections to narrow your search by department or day and time as in the example below:

7 What Courses do I need to take for my degree and major? To view the degree requirements for the major that you have declared, click on the Advisor tab at the top. You should review this screen with your advisor and use it to track your progress. How do I view my charges or check to see if my payments have been posted? Click on the My Bill tab at the top of the screen to view all charges, payments and financial aid that has been posted to your account. Questions regarding your charges should be directed to the Bursar at or bursar@cnr.edu. Please note that expected aid may not be posted to your account for 48 hours after your registration transaction has been completed. To view your current award letter, please click on the My Award tab at the top of the screen. Questions regarding your award should be directed to the Office of Financial Aid at or financialaid@cnr.edu.

8 How do I make a payment? Click on the My Bill tab at the top of the screen. After you select My Bill your account will display. At this point you will then be able to make a payment by selecting Click to make a payment button. You will then be presented with a screen to enter your payment information. Once you finish entering this information, click on Submit Payment. Pease note acceptable methods of payment: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa. After you submit payment, you will receive an confirmation of the transaction. After payment is received, the Bursar hold to your account will automatically be removed and you may proceed with registration.
