1 4-H Llama Online Animal Enrollment Welcome to the Indiana 4-H Online Animal Enrollment website. Please use these instructions to guide you through the process of completing your 2014 Llama and Alpaca Enrollment. The Animal Enrollment website URL is: Login Screen Members can use the numerical Member ID and password that is ed or sent via USPS by your County Extension Office. Alternatively, if the 4-H Member completed their 4-H enrollment online, they are able to use their name, phone number, county of 4-H enrollment and selfselected password created at the time of 4-H (project) enrollment. Members should enter their login information and click Find. If you are unable to login to the Animal Enrollment website or have not received your Member ID and password, please contact your local Extension Office for assistance.

2 Animal Select Screen Immediately after logging in, the Member will be asked to select the type of animal they are enrolling. If a Member has more than 1 type of animal to enroll, after getting to the Review Information page, they should click the Animal Select Link to return to this page and select the next type of animal. The only species in which the Member has enrolled in will appear on the Member s list to enroll. The example below shows all six options. Click on the Llama Button to enroll your llamas and alpacas for Llama Animal Information Members enrolling their llamas and alpacas must complete the following fields: Animal name, Gender, Color, Date of Birth, and whether they own or leased the animal. After completing these fields for each animal they are enrolling, click the Continue & Save button. If you enrolled an animal online in 2013, you should review the information and using the Enroll for 2014 field indicate if you are enrolling that animal again for If you will not be enrolling the animal again, please set the field to No.

Once all fields for each animal is complete, click the Continue and Save button. Llama Photo Upload Members must upload a minimum of 1 photo of each animal with a maximum of 4 photos per animal.

The photo, singly or together, must show the animal s face and all four legs and be of sufficient quality so that a person could reasonably match the photo to the animal. Images are uploaded one at a time. Click the Add Image text to begin the process of uploading the animal photo. 4-H members must upload pictures of their animals (if this is the first year the member has enrolled the animal online) before they can move forward with the process. Click the Add Image text below the Year of Birth of the animal you need to upload their picture.

4 Click the Browse button to navigate to the location that the picture of the animal is located. Double click on the name of the picture file. If you have more than 1 photo to upload, after the first is uploaded and is visible in the Animal record, click the next Add Image text and repeat the process to select your next photo to upload. To upload an additional image, click the next Add Image text to the right of the last picture that was added. If you need to change a picture, click the green Change text beneath the picture that should be removed and upload the new image.

Leased Animals 4-H Members that lease animals for Exhibition are required to provide the name of the Leaser and their contact information at the time of Animal Enrollment for each leased animal. Copies of lease forms do not need to be uploaded into the system. If you do not have any leased animals, this page will be skipped as you progress through the enrollment.

6 After completing the Leaser Name and Address information, Click Continue & Save to proceed to the Llama Enrollment Waiver form. After the Member and Parent initial the Consent form, click Continue & Save.

Animal Review Information The review information page will allow the member to verify the information they have provided for all enrolled animals.

If the member needs to make any changes, they will need to click on Animal Select title in the navigation bar. Click on the Llama button to make changes to information entered for the members enrolled llamas. Do not use the back button in your browser. If the Member has another species of animal to enroll, they should click Animal Select in the navigation bar and then click the button of the next species of animal to enroll. If no changes are needed and the member does not have additional species to enroll, click Submit. If you choose to print your animal enrollment information, it will open in a new window or tab of your browser. Close the new tab to return to the Animal Enrollment website and click Submit.

After submitting the Animal Enrollment you will receive an email with the information you entered for each animal you entered. Please keep this email for your records.

Finished Page If you have another animal or species to enter, click the green Enroll button next to the 4-H member s name to return to the Animal Select screen. 4-H members in the same family may be listed on the screen. If so, you can begin Animal Enrollment for a sibling by clicking the green Enroll button next to their name.
