1 CUNA Predefined Extract PS_CUNA_MBRS Application Overview: This application creates an extract file that contains a list of members with a savings or checking account with the account status as defined in the Account Statuses to Include parameter. This extract is used by CUNA Mutual group for member mailings. Processing: The application creates the extract in two formats depending on the value of the File Type parameter. The two formats are: Standard Layout - a fixed length file format including institution account information for a member. Simplified Layout - a comma-delimited file format which only includes the name, address and phone number of the member. The following conditions are used to determine the selection criteria for the extract. One record is produced per person/member. The member has a savings and/or checking account with an account status as defined in the Account Statuses to Include parameter. Both the Tax Reported For and Non Tax Owner (OWN) roles on an account are considered. The selection criteria excludes the following: o Deceased persons based on the Death Date on the person record. o Person records with the Privacy Indicator checked. o Organizations are excluded from the selection criteria. Parameters: PS_CUNA_MBRS.SQT uses a single parameter, File Type (8TYP) to control the format of the output file. The following two output file formats are supported, Standard and Simplified. Account Statuses to Include DRST A comma-separated list of the Account Statuses required for an account to be processed. Example: ACT, DORM Y Blank File Layout(s): Report Type 1 Standard Layout If Report Type 1 Standard Layout is selected when running the PS_CUNA_MBRS.SQT, the extract text file is produced in a fixed length format. Field Format Size Beginning Ending Description Position Position Financial Institution Name Displays the Name of Organization #1 which defines the institution. Share Savings Acct Right Justified, Displays the Account Number of the person s share account. Name Displays the First Name, Middle Initial and Last Name in the person record. Address Displays the Address in Address Line 1 of the Primary Address. Address Displays the Address in Address Line 2 of the Primary Address. City State Displays the City and State of the Primary Address. Zip Displays the Zip Code of the Primary Address. SSN Displays the Tax Id Number of the Person. Birth Date YYYYMMDD Displays the Birth Date populated on the person record. Page 2 of 7

Member Enroll Date YYYYMMDD The date the person record was created in DNA. Filler <space> Displays Blank. Phone Number Displays the Phone Number populated in the Home Phone or Cell Phone field on the person record. If both the Home Phone and Cell Phone number fields are populated, the Home Phone number is displayed. Note: Only those Phone Numbers will be displayed where PhoneUseCd = PER or CELL. 4 Report Type 2 Simplified Layout If Report Type 2 Simplified Layout is selected when running the PS_CUNA_MBRS.SQT, the extract text file is produced in a comma-delimited format. Field Format Description Financial Institution Name Name Address 1 Address 2 City State Displays the Name of Organization #1 which defines the institution. Displays the First Name, Middle Initial and Last Name in the person record. Displays the Address in Address Line 1 of the Primary Address. Displays the Address in Address Line 2 of the Primary Address. Displays the City and State of the Primary Address. Zip Code Displays the Zip Code of the Primary Address. Phone Number Displays the Phone Number populated in the Home Phone or Cell Phone field on the person record. If both the Home Phone and Cell Phone number fields are populated, the Home Phone number is displayed. Note: Only those Phone Numbers will be displayed where PhoneUseCd = PER or CELL. 6 Installation: Note: If you obtained this application from the DNAappstore, please disregard the installation instructions below. If you did not obtain this application from the DNAappstore, please complete the installation instructions below. Run the PS_CUNA_MBRS.WTS script to register the application. If not defined already, edit the institution option BATP (PS Batch Report Directory) with the designation of a custom program directory (ex: G:\OSI\BANK\BAT_EXE\PS\). Copy the PS_CUNA_MBRS.SQT to the Professional Services (PS) directory. Once the PS_CUNA_MBRS.WTS script has been successfully run, the PS_CUNA_MBRS.SQT can be executed in Batch. In the System Module of DNA, go to Institution > Applications > Batch Executable and enter the supplied Authorization Key for this application. Additional Information: CUNA Mutual does not directly accept files for the MemberConnect program that contain sensitive data, i.e. tax identification numbers and account numbers. Therefore, Financial Institutions have two choices: Use the Standard Layout and send the file to a CUNA partner company called Sertech to have the data encrypted and then sent to CUNA. Use the Simplified Layout and send to CUNA as the account numbers are not included in the extract file.
