3 Overview: This custom application consists of one SQT that will convert a TWS File into the Fiserv Standard POD File Format. This application preprocesses the file, and needs to be executed before importing the new file into the Fiserv s DNA System via the File Manager Application. Records with a record Type Code of 50 (field one positions 1 2 of the Header record) will be processed as loan or deposit payments. If the header type is LOAN the records will be processed as loan payment. If the Header type is DEP the record will be processed as deposit. Processing: A new file will be created and written to the Queue directory (unless an override directory is designated via the System Operations Application). Please refer to POD processing in the Operations Manual on how to load the new files via the File Manager Application, as POD or LOAN file types. Transactions in the new files will be loaded to FileWarehouse and processed using an AH_CLEAR application. Exception transactions will be handled like all other file exceptions. Parameters: Parameter Code Description (how used) Required Default External File Name EXFN This is the file received from TWS. The entire file path and name must be entered here. Do not use spaces. If numerous files need to be imported, each must be handled individually, in a separate Queue. Y <Blank> Output File Name 8OUF The name only (not path) of the file to be created. Check Number NUM The Check Number of the transaction. Will always be Blank. Trace Number NUM Trace Number. Tran Code NUM The Transaction code of the transaction which is posted. 6 Report Layout: A report is also generated with a message ---- Amounts matched ---- showing the total no. of Accounts processed as shown below. 7 Installation: Note: If you obtained this application from the DNAappstore, please disregard the installation instructions below. If you did not obtain this application from the DNAappstore, please complete the installation instructions below. Run the PS_MAILPOST.wts script to register the application and setup the runtime parameters. Copy the SQT files to the Professional Services (PS) directory. Once the PS_MAILPOST.WTS script has been successfully run and the runtime parameters updated, PS_MAILPOST.SQT can be executed via Batch Manager In the System Module of DNA, go to Institution > Applications and enter the supplied Authorization Key for this application.
