5 1 Background 1.1 ONE Mail and ONE Pages ONE Mail is a secure system provided and funded by ehealth Ontario, an agency of Ontario s Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. ONE Mail is available to Ontario s health care providers to facilitate secure electronic transmission of personal information (PI), personal health information (PHI), and other data among participants. ONE Pages (the ONE Mail directory) holds contact information for all ONE Mail subscribers. As such, ONE Pages is the authoritative list of individuals who can securely send and receive personal health information through ONE Mail. 1.2 Purpose of This Document This document describes how to make the ONE Mail directory available as an address book within Outlook 2010 and This method of accessing ONE Pages works only on computers attached to a ONE Mail Partnered organization s network. This document is a supplement to the ONE Mail Partnered user guide, which is available on the ONE Mail resources web site. 2 Configure Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 for ONE Pages (the ONE Mail Directory) 2.1 Add ONE Pages to Outlook Follow these directions to access the ONE Mail directory (ONE Pages) through Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 desktop software. The screen shots below were taken from Outlook 2010, but the configuration steps are the same for Outlook ONE Mail Partnered Adding ONE Pages to Outlook 2010 and 2013 v1.3s 1

6 Select (1) File, (2) Account Settings, and (3) Account Settings... Select (1) the Address Books tab and then (2) New... (1) Select Internet Directory Service (LDAP) and then (2) Next. ONE Mail Partnered Adding ONE Pages to Outlook 2010 and 2013 v1.3s 2

7 (1) In the Server Name field, enter ldap.one-pages.on.ca. (2) Select More Settings... If a warning appears, click OK. (1) Ensure that the Connection tab is selected. (2) For Display Name, enter a name such as ONE Mail Directory or ONE Pages. This display name is the text that will show up on Outlook s list of available address books, so enter something meaningful for an end user. (3) Enter 636 in Port field. 8 (1) Switch to the Search tab. (2) Enter 60 in Search timeout in seconds field. (3) Enter 999 in Specify the maximum number... field. (4) Select the Custom radio button and enter cn=users,dc=one-pages,dc=on,dc=ca. (5) Click OK. Click Next. ONE Mail Partnered Adding ONE Pages to Outlook 2010 and 2013 v1.3s 4

9 Click Finish. Back at the Account Settings window, the new addition shows up in the list. Click Close. Restart Outlook to ensure the new address directory is fully installed. 2.2 Find the ONE Mail Directory in Outlook After adding ONE Pages (the ONE Mail directory) and restarting Outlook as described above, the new address list is accessible. 10 2.2.1 Directly (Through the Address Book) To view ONE Pages, select Address Book from the main window. Click the down arrow to pull down the Address Book menu, and ONE Pages shows up labelled as whatever was entered for the display name during configuration. 11 2.2.2 While Composing an Message To access ONE Pages while composing an message, click the To... button. Click the down arrow to pull down the Address Book menu, and ONE Pages shows up labelled as whatever was entered for the display name during configuration. The window below is essentially the same as the window that appears through direct access to the address book (as shown in the preceding section). The main difference is that this window includes the ability to select names and add them as recipients If ONE Pages Is Not On the List Newly-added address lists may not be immediately accessible within Outlook.
