2 Portal Registration and ESI Packaging Access Tutorial ESI Packaging Registration Process In order to access the ESI Packaging web site, you must first establish a user ID and Password via the IBM Registration process through the Global Procurement Supply Portal. You will not be able to access this web site without an ID and PW. Step 1. Obtaining a User ID and Password Before you can enroll as a user from your company for ESI Packaging, you must first go to the IBM Registration site and obtain a userid and password. Enter the Supply Portal website at:

3 The Supply Portal overview page appears. Click Register and you ll be taken to the My IBM Registration page.

4 Fill in the applicable information on this form and hit submit. The ID you request should be your address. You may want to bookmark the Registration page in case you want to change any of your settings in the future.

5 1. In the security question field, type a security question that only you can answer and provide the answer in the Answer to security question field. Choose a question that is simple to answer and easy to remember as you may be asked to furnish the answer occasionally to confirm your identity. 2. Input your preferred address and select your country of residence. 3. Hit Continue.

6 Fill in the applicable information on this form and (this is only 1 part of this page).

7 Fill in the remaining applicable information on this form and hit Continue.

8 You should receive a Registration Confirmation message. Hit Continue and you will be automatically directed back to the Supply Portal overview page. If you are not automatically transferred you can access the Supply Portal page at the following Internet address:

10 1. The Supply Portal Overview page appears. Click the My Portal: My Functions link. 2. Enter your User ID and PW (from the registration process)

12 Read Supply Portal Terms and select I accept

13 Click on Select One and choose ESI Packaging Application OEM Packaging Services

14 1. Complete the appropriate fields in the Registration Form. 2. Required fields are marked * 3. Under Desired Portal Role select Coordinator or Regular User *Coordinator this user will be responsible for approving all new users from that supplier. Supplier Companies must have at least one Coordinator registered before additional users can be added. Coordinators typically have Editor access. *Regular User Standard User. Standard Users typically have Author or reader access 4. Select Language preference 5. Click Continue

16 Select companytype and choose Supplier

17 1. Enter Location type in your local city, state, country (i.e.: Raleigh, NC, USA) 2. Select Requested Access level Reader read only access Author can create/submit form and edit/delete only their own documents or forms Editor can create/submit/edit/delete any forms from that supplier. Usually reserved for Supplier Coordinators 3. Click Continue

18 1. A Final Review page appears and you need to look it over and if everything looks accurate select Submit 2. If there is an error hit your browser back button to return to the previous page(s) to make corrections

19 1. A final confirmation of your Submission with a request number will be displayed. Your ESI Pkg Application access registration is now complete. 2. If this is a Regular User submission the request will first go to the Supplier Coordinator for Step 1 approval and then to IBM for final approval (Advance to the next slide for Supplier Coordinator Approval Process

Once accessed, click My Portal:My Functions. You will be prompted for your userid and password. 3. From your personalized My Portal page, access the database by clicking on ESI Packaging Application OEM Packaging Services 4. Once you are in the Database click on the desired selection from left side list (i.e.: Supplier Info/Spend, Environmental Compliance, etc)
